- 4/27/23Hi! My name is Mona Lisa and I am a New Cosmetologist here at this Hair Cuttery for the last 3 months. I was reading these reviews on the website and realized most of these comments on here are public situations to Cosmetologists work , who are just trying their best everyday. These concerns really should be spoken to between Salon Manager, Cosmetologist, and Our concerned Guests. That way issues can be resolved respectfully, the Guest and Cosmetologist are both heard, a positive resolution can be made. Some of these comments are even about Cosmetologists that no longer work at this location. So that then already causes potential guests to already judge the quality work of these amazing Cosmetologists that are Still employed at this salon. I hope this website becomes more of a platform for Beautiful Compliments and pictures of Artwork that all these Cosmetologists deserve. - 2/11/23Marcia is VERY unprofessional and sadly has no idea what even a toner is. As soon as got there I was very clear with her about 2 things. First I told her I was pregnant and that my doctor advised me to please to avoid any product to touching my scalp, that I just wanted to tone the ends. She did not even ask what tone I wanted to get done, when I got there she just said “I know what i’ll do”. Anyways I explained to her that I wanted a caramel toner or some available color in that family that would warm up my blonde, she proceed to do it, she APPLIED PRODUCT ON MY SCALP in some spots and very close to the scalp in others, and at the end when I asked her what was the formula she used, she said I applied clear, because that’s what a toner does its a gloss, she was trying to charge me different prices for clear toner and colored toner, which I was not concerned about the price at all, I just wanted to job to get done and my scalp not to be touched. 3 coworkers approached her and explained to her what I wanted and what she had to do, and the coworker even went to the back and helped her make the formula. Second round of applying the toner and she touched my scalp again. When she finished the end result was an ashy tone, literally silver grey ash blonde. Nothing like what I wanted or asked for, I showed her pinterest pictures and even used the hair color of one of the stylist there as a reference of what I wanted, it was very clear. She put my pregnancy in risk even when I emphasized multiple times not to do it she’d respond “yea yea” like she does not care. It was a terrible service, I also got the olaplex n.2 treatment which she left on for ONLY 5 MINUTES and rinsed off. VERY unprofessional, very unsafe, very uncomftable. She even yelled at me and got mad when I told her that clear was not what I wanted and told me that she was the hairstylist and trying to convince me that toners were clear, like I have never had a toner before, Ive been blonde all my life and I tone my hair every month. The worst experience. Don’t care about the money or the time I lost at that place, not even care if the result was horrible and unflatering, the reason why I WOULD TELL YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IS BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE and their hairstylist do not know what they’re doing.Response from HairCuttery • 2/14/23Hey there, Sofia A, thanks for giving us this review. I have the simplest haircut…top is long and does not need anything done so all I require is a fade / buzz .5 and 1 and I look like a sidewalk with grass coming out here and there …. It s ridiculous.
I called the salon before writing this review as I prefer them to known that they did this 2 times already and I didn’t wanted to screw their reviews…
1st time I was there a year ago and obviously till today I didn’t go back and I regret now that I did …
I payed $28 and I look absolutely ridiculous.
When I called and complained about it they hang up on me … so I wonder if any of their business managers are gonna get in contact with me ….or maybe client satisfaction doesn’t matter anymore.
The assistant manager just hag up …

- 7/18/21I made an appointment with Deb for noon. When I got there Mitch thanked me for making an appointment. He was very nice. Deb was doing a full head of highlights when I got there knowing she had a noon appointment waiting. Not once did she come over to apologize for being late. I know highlights is a big money ticket but honor your appointments first or you will never get repeat clients. I waited until 12:40 and left. I was a stylist many years ago and booked my appointments to make sure I never ran late and made a client wait. Deb, you are not a doctor, you do not make clients wait for you. After 40 minutes, she was still wrapping her client and was nowhere near finished. Very unprofessional and rude. When I asked the girl at the desk why she did that, she stated that it was last minute. That's when you tell THAT CLIENT to wait while you do your noon appointment first. That's good business. - 3/22/20When I found Mitchell it was my lucky day. He is the GREAT, the only one that can cut my hair, and it is always styled up to date, new and always perfect and I am VERY HAPPY. Please be Safe.
- 12/8/19Stephanie is the WORST!! My son asked for a number 2 on the sides and a 3 on the top. He got a buzz cut and the hair was not even even! Got my money back but he has to go to school ( and probably be made fun of). I just wish people would do their job right. My poor kid!!! Had to give one star but she doesn’t deserve even a half of a star!!!! You young lady should be ashamed of yourself
- 7/17/19This was my 1st time here. Nicole sat me down very quickly after taking my information and proceeded to give me one of the best cuts ever. She was quick and efficient. Very friendly and accommodating. I will be back.
- 1/23/19I had the first awful experience at this hair cuttery with Lauren (Mitchell is great!). I never take time to write reviews, so please, listen up. I am also not the type of person to complain at all about a haircut because I have the philosophy that it grows back. In this case, I must share how awful my hair was cut. I walked in around 5 pm to be greeted by Lauren herself. As I asked for a shampoo and cut, she turns to another girl working there to ask if she wanted to cut my hair, to which she glanced at me with a very dirty look and murmured "not really" and some other words that I did not catch. Anyway, Lauren proceeds to sit me down two minutes later in her chair. She asked me what I wanted, and I replied that I just wanted a trim and that I was trying to keep it long. She says my hair was pretty flat so I agree to some LONG layers that she suggested. She proceeds to take me to wash my hair, and let me tell you, it was the least enthusiastic shampooing of my life, so we were already off to a bad start. I decided to let that go because, you know, maybe the haircut would be okay? No. When I explained that I wanted just a trim she showed me that she would cut off no more than an inch and a half. She cut off about 5 inches of my hair, gave me layers so short that they don't make it past my chin, and most importantly, did not even check to see if the haircut was even!!! I got home and on one side of my head there was a very large strand that must've been at least an inch longer than the rest of my hair (which I myself had to cut off). Thank goodness I didn't ask for short layers, or else I'd be bald. I continue to find bunches of hair that are longer than the rest. Please, I was not expecting this to be the best haircut of my life, especially for $18, I was just expecting to not have to pay $45 to trim my hair, but she literally butchered it. Now, on top of the $18 I spent on that haircut, I have to go elsewhere and spend an extra $45 just because this girl did not understand what a "trim with long layers" is. Also, I'd really like to point out that she at no point checked to make sure that it was even on both sides!
