- 1/31/24I wanted my sides and back faded very low. The stylist Renée, who did my Cut did not do as I asked. Nothing was blended, and even the line was not straight. Instead of making a fuss I left and left no tip and told her I was not happy. I called later that week and was told to come on in and they would correct it. When I got there at the scheduled time, the kind young lady who I spoke to was overruled by the boisterously rude, assistant manager, Todd Watson who proceeded to berate me, in front of other customers and this is precisely the situation I attempted to avoid by leaving respectfully and then calling back on the phone. - 12/31/23I used to wear an angled bob, but have not had it cut over the last 8 months so it would grow out. The longest layer was passed my shoulders and the shortest layer was about 3-inches passed my chin. I wanted a quick trim to even it out - that’s it. I booked online the evening before, and purposely chose a “Senior Designer” (Sheila) because I wanted someone with experience. She looked at my hair, we agreed to even it out to the shortest layer - about 3-inches below my chin. I’m watching her snip and then she steps away for a second. I turned my head to check out the length and saw a chunk had been cut ABOVE my chin line! The previous bob style I had wasn’t even that short! I asked what that was, what happened, and she replied, “I don’t know. It just happened.” It took two other stylists a couple of hours to attempt to salvage it, but they all agreed, there was nothing they could do but cut the rest of my hair to the same length - ABOVE my chin line. Months of growing out a cut to have a “Senior Designer” botch what should’ve been a simple cut is inexcusable!!! - 3/27/23Briana is always on point when I need my hair colored and styled. When I travel I'm not trying to be bothered with my hair, Bri and Hair Cuttery to the rescue .
I rarely know exactly what style I want, just a general idea, and Bri comes up with a plan.

- 8/9/22Stylists did a poor consultation and used clippers on my son who usually gets a scissor cut. Staff was extremely rude and condescending and blamed me for their bad attitudes and the clipper cut. The “great” haircut the shift manager promised to “fix” the clipper cut with is uneven and choppy. - 5/15/22It was awful! I scheduled a wash, dry and style the day of my son’s graduation. When I get there they tell me they booked a wash and blow out. I said they had it wrong and explained what I wanted. Curls and half braided hair style. The stylist didn’t know how to braid nor twist! The manager was rude and kept telling me to stop what I had to say and assumed I said something the wrong way! I asked the stylist do you know how to style any hairdo?! If I wasn’t on a time limit I would had spoke my mind and left! The curls she did wasn’t the ones I wanted. I wanted loose curls. I will never go back!! - 5/3/22I made an appointment today for 7 p.m. I drove from Georgia which is a 40 min drive for me. I arrived at 6:50 and was greeted by a nice gentleman who checked me in. I then was approached by the stylist who was to color my hair. She came to me to let me know that she still had to put a toner on her client and that i was looking at a 45 minute wait. I told her I couldn't stay in which she rudely turned around and walked off saying ok! I told her as she was walking off that she could have at least given me a call to let me know. My problem for not being able to wait was a medical issue I have. It would have also put us at closing time with my color and I didn't want to be getting a rushed job. I say it was her loss because I always OVER TIP whoever works on me. The attitude she had saved not only my money but a bad experience all together. It's sad too because this is the first time I have ever had a problem with River City location. Patrice, Todd, Dee and Renee are all amazing 👏. The lady today needs better customer service training!!!!! Just an apology would have been nice, not the shrug of the shoulder like I got. I was on time and I could have saved gas and rescheduled!!!!!!

- 1/7/22Aubrey is a horrible hairdresser. She is slow and has cognitive issues. She ruined my hair by leaving the bleach in foils for over 3 hours. When I pointed this out to the manager, I realized they all had cognitive issues as the manager took Aubrey's side. - 12/13/21I used to get my hair cut at the competitor across the parking lot from Hair Cuttery. - 8/24/21Before covid and this new administration in office this place was excellent. Today they are short handed and the customer service needs support. No reception so the technician has to leave you at the station while your beautician takes a phone call or greets a walk-in.
