- 8/5/23You don't even deserve the 1 star I had to give! 2 hrs before they closed, the 2 women refused walk ins. They said they already had their schedules booked and there were only 2 of them there for the night. - 7/31/23April out did herself once again! She's great! I Went in for highlights/lowlights. April Took her time on making sure my hair was not damaged in the process, picking out hair strands that were already my desired hair color to keep them from getting over processed. LOL,tried calling to have them "make it up" and I was placed on hold. - 10/18/22< 1 star....Full of themselves "stylists". I called at 7:30p to see if I could just walk in. I was told I needed an appt, when I offered to try another time , "jennifer" offered an 8:30p appt. On my way at 8:07p I recd a text appt was at 8:35p. I walked in at 8:20p. Jennifer asked if I was in for the 8:35p appt and said it would be a few minutes. A 9p, I got up to leave as not one of the 3 stylist checked in with me. Too busy with their customers. When I got up to leave, since I had been sitting for 40 mins (for a few minute wait) my foot had fallen asleep and I fell. They all gasped but did nothing. I have sprained my foot and it is swollen. - 8/25/22I am a handicapped senior 81yo.had my registered service dog with me. Very rudely told me she is allergic to dogs and challenged me that he was not wearing vest. He was in an enclosed stroller and i offered to show his registration. She walked away muttering hatefully. - 5/11/22I asked for a trim and to thin it out - emphasis on thin it out. All she did was trim it.. and I asked at the end if she thinned it out and she lied and said she did.. she only cut from the bottom of the hair. I watched the whole time. - 1/30/22Don’t bother making an appt because it doesn’t matter!! I had a 3pm appt. I arrived 15mins early and was greeted and told my stylist was finishing a cut & would be with me shortly. Once finished my stylist acknowledged me and informed me she had a walk in that she would need to take before me. I asked if someone else was available and she told me no, and that she would be with me as soon as possible. She then proceeded to walk to the shampoo area and talk with another stylist about me asking for someone else as if this was completely irrational. She then came back up front, took the walk in and rudely said, I’ll be with you soon. Needless to say, I told her to forget it and walked out. - 12/4/21Clearly Racist and Descriminative!This was my second Hair Cuttery that I visited today. The 1st branch was the Baymeadows Rd- Reedy Commons branch. I entered around 3:45pm and observed 1 stylist doing hair. After being greeted, I advised her of my desire to have my hair cut in more layers. Another stylist, pretty pleasant I must say; came to greet me, I advised her the same thing. She began looking upon the computer, advised me that she has a client scheduled to be there in 10 minutes and that the next available appointment is not until 6:15pm. I told her no Thank you. She actually apologized and stated that she didn't mind doing my hair, but obviously it will take longer than 10 minutes,in which it would've conflicted with the upcoming appointment. At least she did show effort to serve me. However,my thinking was since I was heading to the area where I live, how about I try the branch on Normandy Blvd. I walked in to Normandy's branch around 4:15pm, I observed 3 stylist doing hair, 2 stylist talking to one another. Granted, I was told that someone will be with me in a moment. But,I just thought the stylist whom that were not doing anyone's hair may have came to attempt to provide me with service. Nope..not at all. So,one of the stylist had just finished a guy's hair, checked him out and then proceeded to ACT like she wanted to service me. She asked what I wanted to have done, I advised her my desire of cut w/ defined layers. She tells me that they only service by appointment; which is obviously a lie, due to the fact of " Walk-ins are welcome"
sign. Then, she proceeds to tell another lie by stating that the next available appointment is not until 6:45pm. I advised her to give me a moment,walked outside,instantly I went on the website and seen next available appointment for ANY stylist was 5:30pm. I went back in, hoping to speak with the same person, but as I was coming back inside she was heading to the back office to Hide behind her Lie. Another stylist, whom had just finished a client as well was sitting at the main desk now, so I asked her,when did Hair Cuttery begin only accepting appointments and why would that other stylist tell me a Clear Lie about the next appointment is not until 6:45pm, when the website say another. Plus, I was showing her my phone that I have proof they both are lying!! I begin to tell her, if they didn't not want to provide me with service because of the color of my skin ,they should be bold enough to SAY it. Then, the stylist doesn't make it any better and begin asking if this my hair, what type of hair I have and lastly maybe they just don't feel comfortable doing my hair!!! I asked again, Why couldn't she just say that to my face ,than to tell me a boldface Lie, which can be proven?? The stylist was Lost for words, couldn't say anything! All while I was having this conversation, another stylist,(maybe the manager) left from doing a customer's hair to listen and begin looking on the computer as well, but didn't offer any suggestion. My last statement to them was," This Is a Sad", and I proceeded to leave. Today , I was reminded again how to never judge a book by it's cover and to remember what you Sow, you Shall Reap. Most of all, if this Organization truly don't want Women of Color to patronize their businesses..remove the Women of Color Models from your online advertisement. - 8/20/21I went as a walk-in, they fit me in within a reasonable amount of time. I believe Paige cut my hair and she gave me an amazing haircut exactly what I went in there for she was great! I will be back and I will recommend hair Cuttery from now on Normandy boulevard

- 10/22/20Worst Customer service. First time they told me the will do my haircut. They left me out and took another person that came in after me. Today they told me they can do my haircut in 45 mins. I say okay i wait. 5 mins later a woman Came in back told me no one can do my haircut. Never again will come back. What awful customer service
