    Why is it that I had an appointment scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight, got to the shop at 5:55 to find it locked up, no one inside? I even waited in the parking lot for 10 minutes, just in case my stylist had run out for a minute. NOT happy.

    I arrived at the salon needing my bangs trimmed. I told the stylist I have fine hair so please don’t “cut into them” making them wispy, they’re too thin for that look. I’d like a straight across trim. After she did what I asked she became texturizing them. I stopped her saying remember that’s what I asked not to be done. She replied with just a little bit will look cute. Ok what?! Hard pass.

    I previously left a good review on google for Anna, set up an appt for 4:15. Showed up at 4:18, I was 3 minutes late, she told me I had a 3:55. I have a text that says 4:15. She says she only has 10 minutes to give me a haircut. Like I want your not gonna try 10 minute haircut. Just lost a customer that was coming every 2 weeks. Bye now!

    This is the 5th time I’ve given Tarpon Bay Hair Cuttery a chance and all the past times it was a 2-3 hour wait. Today, I was there shortly after 10 AM & was told they didn’t have anything available until 6
    PM!!! What???? Isn’t this a walk-in (plus appointments) salon? I only saw 2 stylists there! Time to get more help especially around the holidays. Will not go back there ever again and this use to be my salon!!!!

    Never book with Melissa! Very unprofessional was already with one client when she sat me on her chair. Started of with bleach and left it on for too long. I asked for a balayage, I have a full head of orange hair! My hair looks terrible! Charged me $235? And my trim is not even.

    The store manager needs serious training on customer relations. She is very rude and discourteous.
    They messed up my appointment and tried to make me feel it was my fault. Truth was the stylist took a vacation day and never called to reschedule. I won’t be going back to this unprofessional place of business as there are many shops that try to please the customer.

    She just kept cutting and cutting. I asked for just bellow shoulders it doesn't even touch my shoulders! Very unhappy

    Joey listens and executes exactly what you want in a haircut. He is very accommodating when you have to reschedule. He called me when they were temporarily closing for Covid so I could get in for a haircut. He’s the best!!
