- 4/14/23I went in to get highlights. I even showed the girl a picture of what I wanted. Well, she made my hair dark brown, I was a blonde. With no highlights. I was extremely upset 😡. She said, its an easy fix. Did it again. N still wrong. She tried to bring my blonde back, nope n still no highlights. So, I paid $178, for absolutely nothing. Terrible. Very unhappy customer. - 12/11/22They butchered my hair three years ago and I made the mistake of coming back. - 4/3/22She was amazing very sweet made me feel so welcomed. I had an undercut and she did a fade for me so well done and lined me up as well. When she was shampooing she did it so well made me feel so relaxed. I got a blow dry too and she gave me sooooo much volume made sure to put heat protection. - 12/13/21Walked in for trim $22. Purchased product for $46. Stylist rang up cut & product & displayed tip screen. Tip was based on $74.22 instead of cost of service of $22. 20% tip was $14.24 half of service fee. - 5/12/21Seriously, if someone calls and asks what time you close and how much a kids cut is but does not say one time they are booked for the night or that there is no walkins for the night. I show up and she replies well you didn’t put your name down, I reply, you didn’t say it was appointment only or booked filled. Will never go back. This black lady was ridiculous and unpleasant. - 2/23/20Hailey did a wonderful job and did so more than I expected. For the first time in a long time I really like the way my hair looks after a cut.
- 1/25/20Not a good Experience... I understand that 1 person does not justify all... So this was my experience... I walked in to the location off of College Road in Ocala, FL. Seemed to be pretty busy, and had to wait about 5 minutes to be helped ( No big deal, I work in a very place as well ). I asked what the wait time was like, and that I had a teenage daughter with very long hair, that simply needed a 3 inch trim, no wash, no blowdry... The woman I spoke to was very friendly, advised me 25-30 minutes. So I asked, Is it possible that we can go to lunch and set up an appointment for later? Sure no problem she said, what time is good for you? I looked at my watch and thought an hour and 20 minutes should be enough time... We decided on 2:15pm and appointment was booked with Katie. We went to Outback for lunch, at 2:08 as I was signing my receipt, and about to walk out of the restaurant when Katie from the Hair Cuttery calls me to ask me if I was coming to my appointment... I advised her I was wrapping up our lunch, at that my daughters appointment was set for 2:15, and we would be there. We showed up on time, went straight to Katie’s chair, where she began looking obsessively thru her hair. Stating that shes doing this bc its that time of year... I get it, thats fine... My daughter had recently had lice about 2 months prior. She looks at me and starts shaking her head yes at me, and says that she’s finding eggs in her hair, and that the eggs she can feel popping on top of her very thick artificial nails. First off, Katie has no idea, that I too, am a cosmetologist. My daughter wanted a trim today, and I decided I didn’t feel like doing it, and cleaning it up... so a trim is nothing compared to other services, a 5 minute thing... The most simple service imaginable! I honestly thought, well maybe I have not been paying enough attention, left and went to go buy all the products to treat lice... About $50.00 worth of product... I get home, and start scanning my daughters hair, in very thin strips. Im coming by very small particles on her hair strands... the small white dots are very movable, and definitely are not stuck to the strand. I even decided to tried and “Pop” the so called egg, with my own real nails... No popping... I went thru her whole entire head searchin for something... Nothing, just small dandruff pieces...I went ahead and purchased a bunch of products earlier, based on a fellow hair stylists opinion... (Won’t make that mistake again)... Honestly, I don’t think Katie wanted to be there, nor do I think she wanted to be bothered with doing a simple haircut, that probably gave her next nothing for commission... Little did she know that I understand, and work the business as well... and planned on over compensating her for her time... Katie’s loss... if you want something done right, even if you don’t feel like it, your just better off doing it yourself... I thought, I wish I could give no stars, but that wouldn’t have been fair to those who truly appreciated their jobs... to those who were happy to set me up an appointment, and smile despite how busy they were... Katie wasted a bunch of time having to go and purchase products I believed my daughter needed, and now I must spend more time returning product that she didnt need in the first place... Based on the phone call before her appointment time, and the weird obsessive search thru my daughters hair apon sitting down, Im sure Katie had better things to do... Thats ashame... Id never try to make a child or parent uncomfortable. Theres a way of being professional and Discrete, at the same time...
- 1/5/20Horrible! Stopped to get hair cut got a young lady name Paige. Razor burnt my neck. Hair cut uneven. Will never go there again. Got pictures too. Hade to chose a 1 star just because it would not let me submit if not.
- 1/2/20Today. 010220 My 11 year old daughter received a wash blow dry and only a half inch cut off the back of her head for 35.00 dollars. RIPPED OFF A 11 YR OLD AND TRIED TO CHARGE MORE FOR HER LONG HAIR..SMH ....SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR SELVES
- 12/1/19Jea was AMAZING! My son is 1 1/2 years old and has never enjoyed getting his hair cut. This was the best experience we have ever had and I will definitely be back to see Jea!!!
- 7/22/19I came in last Thursday for a hair cut this cut cost me $50. Amanda a Senior Designer did my hair . I got 2 inches longer on 1 side than the other. What do I do about this? Not much my hair has been wacked on enough. I usually use Samantha in The Village's HC I should of waited. My hair is everything to me I lost alot of it because of blood pressure meds now I wished I just left it alone

- 7/28/18I drove from Palm Coast Fl to this location for the best treatment of my life the entire staff were beyond friendly and my stylist Shonda delivered a spa like experience and a hair style that left me feeling and looking inspired beautiful and lucky for me 10 years younger. Great job Hair Cuttery will definitely send everyone I know to this great location
