- 11/27/22I came for an appointment on Sunday Nov 27 at noon, the door was closed and locked with 2 stylists inside, including the one I had an appointment with, and another customer in a chair. they both saw me standing at the door at my appointment time and neither made any move to open the door, after standing there for 5 minutes with one stylists sitting at the front desk, I left and won't be going back.Response from HairCuttery • 12/5/22Hi PM, thanks for that feedback. - 5/26/22My 14 yr old daughter went in for a drastic cut. Long hair to a short bob. The guy that first approached us looked at the picture of what she wanted and said .. no, he would not give her that cut. That he didn’t like it for her. Then another “stylist” approached and added her two cents telling my child that she shouldn’t cut her hair that short. “Shoulder length would be better for you”. So my daughter left in tears. Not because she cares about their Unasked for Opinions, but because these adults didn’t respect her want for a haircut. That they would tell her no like she isn’t paying them for a service. I was with her the whole time. It was shameful. And I feel that you have some pretty trashy people working at this shop…. But at least we know where not to go!
Ulta squeezed her in. Treated her amazing, respected her choice of haircut, made her feel confident and beautiful. They gave her a beautiful haircut. Exactly what she wanted.
Remind your employees that putting down young women is not okay. Do better! I had long hair and asked for layers and bangs and got a choppy uneven haircut instead so I called and asked to please fix it. So Debra took me in to do so. Honestly it’s so choppy which Debra said if it’s not choppy it’s not proper layers but I’ve had layers before and this is not it. I wear my hair in a bun since it’s the only thing that hides this horrific haircut. Debra also commented on how she did not charge me to “fix it” as if she should when I paid the first time and didn’t get what i paid for.
- 4/27/22Wow! I've been getting a Fade from BARBERSHOPS my whole life.
I stopped in there ROCKLEDGE lOcation last week ...only because I couldn't get to my regular shop. Their Hairstylist (Michael) gave me an Amazing Bald Fade! Better than any Barbershops I've been to. People have been complimenting me all week.
I WILL BE BACK to see him for Sure. Great Personality and overall vibe too.

- 4/16/22Had a super cool haircut and it was Marks first day at this location. I told him just cut it and not really specific. - 12/19/21EXTREMELY RUDE. Today My husband asked if they had openings and the lady in the fronts reply was “ does it look like we have openings?” As if he’s supposed to know their schedule. How ride is that. We left real quick to go somewhere else. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent cut. Then the other stylist stated, " Are you staring at me?" Just unreal! No thank you! I wouldn't have booked for today if it wasn't urgent. No thank you!! Horrible treatment!!
