- 11/12/22Had an appt with Debbie E. this morning for a cut and color touch up (much needed for my grey roots) after rearranging my schedule to make it fit in. Called to say I was almost there, was told since I would be 10 minutes late she would no longer take me! I will no longer be going there (and giving them my $200+ plus hefty tip each time), nor will any of the other three members of my family that go here on a regular basis, be going there again. - 11/6/22Went in for a full highlight. Had the bleach on my hair for way longer then it should have been. Then it was toned which basically pretty much looked like how I walked in. However she missed a big piece of blonde. I ended up paying $185 dollars. I feel like they need to discuss cost of service before doing it. - 1/30/22I mulled over writing this review for a while. I booked an appointment after seeing this stylist on Instagram. I went in to get my roots dyed dark and blonde on the bottom. It was over a year since I could afford to go to a salon so I was excited. I showed a picture to my stylist and she said ok…there was never really a discussion on what would be done or cost of process. I was there for hours because we had to tone my hair more then once only to be left with my roots still looking my original color and the ends completely orange. The hit truly came when I was cashed out and was told my total was over $200. I was literally shocked…I’ve been to Panache up the road in the past and never paid that much and definitely left with much better results. It was apparent to my mother and myself the stylist knew my hair did not look good. She took a before picture but not an after, lol. She offered to fix my hair if I wanted…I’m not an argumentative person. I liked the cut but that color was no where near over $200 why do y’all not discuss what your doing and the cost before the service as to not rob the client? I left and immediately got told from several people how orange my hair looked…I hated it. I called the stylist and rebooked to have the color fixed. The stylist acted annoyed my whole appointment the minute I arrived, she barely said two words to me the whole time and I was extremely uncomfortable. This was not my fault. I asked if she could also dye my roots bc again they were not the color I requested. She went to speak with her boss and I was then told my free hair appointment would be an additional $60+ dollars…ummmm what??? So now we’re nearing $300 spent on a simple color and cut. I was shocked at not only the unprofessionalism but the swindling of this salon. Truly a standing ovation for the manager on getting as much money as she could from someone who couldn’t really afford that amount. I should have fought it because $300 is a lot for my family and the service and customer service I received was horrible. I will not return to this salon or this stylist ever!!!! I found someone to fix her mess a month later and she’s super nice abs hues over everything with me abs cost before she does it. That’s how it should be. - 7/4/18I was WOWED by the exceptional services I received yesterday as a walk-in! I met Danielle for the first time and she took the time to discuss a new haircut for me and worked on it until we were both satisfied. I love my new haircut and hope to continue seeing Danielle. She is outstanding.
