If I could give a half star I would. Debra cut my sons hair. Her equipment is low end and scratched the sides of his face and back of his neck. The fade on the side looks like a child did it. Then she put product in his hair and did nothing with it. Absolutely worst hair cut ever. Don’t go here.

Great customer service. I believe his name was Carey. The cut was much more than expected! If I could find a round trip from Atlanta to Tampa for $200 I would be there in a heartbeat. The best cut I have ever had!

The stylist Jesus always attends to me, he is an excellent professional, very punctual, he does my hair quickly and very well, I had problems with my dry hair and Jesus helped my hair to be healthy again. the location is an excellent, very good area, and safe. Thank you Jesus for making my hair beautiful

I am so disappointed. Usually Hair Cuttery is great with my hair and most of the staff has worked with my hair and done a great job. I even trusted them with doing my hair for homecoming. But after this experience I will not be returning to Hair Cuttery. The stylist that cut my hair was Russ and was frustrated right away when he realized my hair “longer than he thought”. He proceeded to dry cut my hair which didn’t settle right with me, and then took me back to the hair wash area and took about 3 minutes to shampoo and condition my hair. After he has finished washing, he began to blow dry my hair WITHOUT detangling it. It honestly felt like he was ripping my scalp out while blow drying. At the end of my appointment, i left with more knots in my hair than i had came with, because he refused to take his time. Russ also seemed to be focused on everything else going on in the salon except my hair. If your designated stylist is not available, do not see Russ.

I always have a good experience at Hair Cuttery, but it is always refreshing when your barber is willing to talk to you and have a friendly conversation with you. Debra was very gun and charismatic, and certainly made my day with her positive energy!

TARA IS AMAZINGLY TALENTED! I have curly hair & have been avoiding cuts for over a decade (my girl moved & then 2 people cut it way too short)
Tara listened to all I wanted, told me what wouldn't work on my curls & she gave me the best haircut I've ever gotten!! FIRST TIME IN DECADES THAT I LUV MY HAIR!! Salon was clean & welcoming , everyone was kind.
I TOTALLY RECOMMEND SALON & TARA !

Horrible. The stylist didn't know what an inverted bob was and asked me to show a picture. And after that still insisted he could cut my hair even after I asked him to get someone else to cut my hair. End result, worst haircut. I am very upset as I drove over 30 mins just to this location because of my prior positive experience. Never again.

Horrible service. Over processed hair. Low lights left on too long that turned my hair very dark with green hues. All they wanted to do was bleach my already ruined hair???Stay away from here find professionals

Appointment was messed up. I called on a Saturday to see if my stylist was in, he said she’ll be in tomorrow. I made an appointment for Sunday afternoon. That morning, I just happen to call to ask for a later time, and they told me, I have no appointment and they were booked all day. I needed to get my hair colored, leaving town to go to a funeral.. I made an appointment at another hair salon and that afternoon received my color. It wouldn’t be that bad, but I believe when I made the appointment at HC, I spoke to the manager or assistant manager. Not very good at customer satisfaction. Not the first time that I’ve had issues with this current management.

Tuya at this location in Westchase Is an amazing hair stylist ! She really listens to what you want. She is very caring and keeps me informed of her schedule. It was such a great experience with her this past June , I brought my Mom in today for a color, cut and style for her 81st birthday today. She’s doing an awesome job!! I can’t say enough great things about her and this Hair Cuttery location ! The manager Russ is a wonderful guy too!

We have tried this place 3 times. Last two times, the boys had horrible, choppy hair cuts. The lady can’t fade or taper to save her life. This is last place you want to go if you have boys. We have wasted money twice and will never return.

Frequently Asked Questions

- Hand sanitizer is a great second option but washing hands with soap is the gold standard and make sure if you are using hand sanitizer, that the alcohol content is between 60-70%.
- Hand washing works because the bubbles pull thing off the skin.
- Use warm water—not super hot because that will dry out your skin leaving cracks for bacteria (good and bad) to seep in.
- Then finish off with a clean towel or paper towel.

2. Log into your account. If you do not have a login-please register.
Once logged in-you will be directed to the ‘Check Ins & Appts’ page or you can click on ‘Check Ins & Appts’on the upper right corner of the webpage.
- Click ‘Book Future Appointment.’
- Choose who to book the appointment for.
- Select the service.
- Select your stylist.
- A calendar box will come up with the days of the week. Your stylist has availability on the days that are highlighted in black clockwise. Pick a day to see appointment times your stylist has available.
- To see further dates, click on the view more cycle to scroll through the weeks.
- Pick a date and time that you would like to book an appointment.
- Confirm your appointment.
- View any of your upcoming visits on the ‘Check Ins & Appts’page.
- We will gladly reschedule or cancel your appointment, and we never charge any reschedule or cancellation fees. Your Salon Professional is happy to assist you in finding another time for your visit.
- You can also move your appointment to a time that works best for you through our Hair Cuttery mobile app, where you can book, reschedule and cancel appointments right from your phone!
