We hope to see you again, soon. -The Hair Cuttery Team - 11/21/22I had an appointment scheduled with McKenzie for Saturday (11/19) which she had called out sick for. When they called me Saturday morning to let me know she was out they rescheduled me for the following day, Sunday (11/20). I CONFIRMED my appt would remain with Mckenzie and was told it would. I drove the hour there to find out Mckenzie is out sick again, ok no problem, what is the problem is how I was treated.
The woman told me my apt was with Whitney to which I replied no that's not right it should be Mckenzie. She informed me Mckenzie was out sick again I asked why I wasn't called like the day before and that's when it all blew up. The woman instantly became irritated with me and rude stating I wasn't on McKenzie's books even though I clearly was because they called me the day before. I kept asking "I don't understand how I went from being on McKenzie's books for a Saturday apt to not on her books today. Did someone make a mistake" to which I was given the run around. Told I was being angry, which I wasn't. At that point another stylist "Jazz" decided to walk over and insert herself in a very threatening manor. Literally giving me the dirtiest looks,gritting her teeth while speaking to me like I'm stupid, and holding onto her scissors tightly in her hand. The woman I was dealing with originally (long strawberry blonde hair not sure her name) turned to her and stated "Jazz don't worry I'll take care of it" which she had to say several times before Jazz finally turned and walked away.
I ended up leaving but before doing so said I'd like reschedule an appointment with McKenzie, to which the woman replied that she was booked the entire month of December and she'd have Mckenzie call me.
I'm never going back. I've already started looking for a new stylist. I spoke to Mckenzie today and filled her in and how the actions of 2 others cost her a customer.
I will never go back and spend my hard earned money in a threatening atmosphere. I highly urge you to look somewhere else. This isn't the first bad review Jazmine has been left and Im sure it will be the last. She was extremely rude and threatening. Inserting herself into a matter that was already being handled. I wasn't screaming, or yelling but was accused of being angry, while at most I was agitated.
Oh and on the way out I overheard a gentlemen saying he had an appointment with a stylist who was out as well and he asked why no-one called to let him know and he was given the same run around then told he could sit and wait for someone to open up or reschedule.

I was thankful they were able to fit me in and I waited the 20 minutes. She was nice at first but seemed very defensive anytime I asked her a question. I explained I had never been in before and the same person has been doing my hair for years. She rolled her eyes and said I’m mixing these colors. I sat in another chair while she did a cut and curl of an older woman while my color processed which I was okay with. She had to wash my color out while she was still curling the older woman’s hair. I was still okay with it until the older woman said something about it and knowone to answer the phone so Jasmine had to go do that all the while I am sitting waiting still. Then the proceed to talk and hug and chat while I am still waiting. She has me go to her chair and she goes to the back to eat. ( I am still sitting with wet hair) I tell her just brush me out and you can go eat it’s fine. She proceeded to dry my hair and never even brushes it so it’s still in knots and my hair is long she doesn’t put any heat shield on my just colored hair and has the dryer on hot. Never wiped any color of my forehead then gets to the register and says is something wrong?? Yes something is definitely wrong!!! My time is just as valuable as others and I deserve the same courtesy as other people I am also a paying customer. I left her a 20% tip and normally if I am treated right I leave half of what ever my service is. She needs some customer service training. - 11/10/22store has hair dresser on site, availability. booked a week ago. - 5/24/22If I could put more than 5 stars I would. Kenzie did an amazing job on my hair! After a bad experience 3 years ago at another salon I had relegated myself to doing my own color at home. My cut and color are spot on now thanks to Kenzie's expertise! She spent time explaining which treatments and techniques would be best for my hair and gave me options that I hadn't even thought of. - 5/7/22Their web site state walk- in appointments available at the location, you go there and they tell you they are booked and aren't taking walk-ins. - 4/30/22Been there 3 times now and if it wasn’t because I like who did my hair I wouldn’t go back. There needs to be a receptionist. These hairdressers are so interrupted while doing your hair. Answer phone, make appointments, take money, great new people and what they want. So unfortunately you are there longer. I don’t know how they do it. I am retired and can WAIT. - 4/5/22Since when do you shampoo after a cut. Stylist smelled like ashtray (offensive for non smokers), dirty hair color bowl from previous customer left. Couldn't print out receipt. - 3/14/22I was in and showed them a picture of the length i wanted and while its shorter tahn what i wanted the real problem is that its NOT EVEN. I was super nervous trusting someone to cut my hair but she not only took the time to discuss what I wanted, she also worked with me through the process to make sure I was still happy. She educated me on different hair products and overall was nothing short of a magician! I'm so happy I trusted marigrace & hair Cuttery!
