- 4/22/23Made an appt for a shape up trim. Went in with just shampooed hair so did not have them shampoo it. My hair is moderately short layers. She just feathered it lightly. And put in some lite gel. At checkout they charged me a full $26 for the Signature Cut even though no shampoo and minimal cutting. Shocking price $26 plus tip for trim shaping. Never going back! p.s. both stylists had over processed platinum hair that looked like rats nests. - 3/9/23Usually have a great experience but got a bad cut on 03/09/2023 for my 7:00pm appt. Asked for the back and sides to be cut short, and just a trim on the top but the man cut like 5 inches off the top and made it really short. Definitely was not just a trim. When linning my hair line he cut a chunk out of my hair above my right ear and the line work was not steady. He even asked before he cut the top if I just wanted a trim to which I replied yes and he just cut almost all my hair off. - 1/20/23I had gone to a DIFFERENT salon a week earlier and unfortunately- the senior stylist did not listen and was terribly rough and pulled on a lot of my hair and doused me in hair spray. Even tho I asked for none. My hair felt terrible and wished I could get away with it until I got home to my own salon. I booked at this Hair Cuttery salon appointment with Sarah. First time I’ve been so nervous to have a wash and style.
Sarah was so very kind to my hair and scalp during the wash and blow dry, unlike at the other salon. She recommended a treatment due to the condition of my hair and how terrible it felt. So glad I did.
Sarah did a great style for me, listened well and selected product so that my fine hair wouldn’t be weighed down (like the last person did), yet, knew just what products to use and where, to encourage some volume. Whatever she used, has kept my curly hair from frizzing up in the humidity, she knew how to coax my hair and work with the curling tendency and I even now, after day 2, it still looks and feels great!

The girl didn't understand that I just wanted an appointment and was going to do it herself, and I said, no not now I need an appointment. So she made if for Jacob. I explained what I wanted, I had just gotten a bad perm and said I just wanted to trim the dead ends, NOT a cut because I didn't want to cut out the curls I just paid $70 for. He seemed to understand. I was asked if I wanted shampoo, and I didn't, but he didn't even wet it in the sink. Cut ALL of the length (i.e. curls) from the back, made it short gut did NOT cut sides or top! I mentioned I didn't want part and said I had pictures, but he said nothing he could do about part, it was up to my styling and training it and didn't care to see pictures! I was debating if I should go back and have him fix it, since I was still had it on my face (which I asked for it to be off my face, i.e. back was too short but sides were too long) and it bothered me, so I did go back. No charge of course, BUT he had to cut it even shorter so now I really have no curls and hair I didn't want in the first place only because neither the girl who made the appointment or Jacob were honest enough to admit they couldn't do it! I don't mind paying for a cut but getting ONLY a trim if that's what I am specifically asking for! I explained to both of them very clearly I did NOT want it cut! - 8/15/22I am not fond of Hair Cuttery due to past issues however I went back only for Marina. She listened to me and gave me a great haircut. - 6/11/22Very disappointed. Jacob scalped me and showed no remorse. I will never go to that salon again. Men don't seem to relate to what a woman likes. - 5/4/22Not worth giving it a star. Showed stylist (Sarah)the picture of what I wanted. Didn’t get a shampoo as advertised. Hair cut to short. - 3/31/22I used to go to this salon with another stylist. Once Covid hit and it shut down said stylist left. Once everything opened back up I was so hesitant about going back seen the stylist new my hair and everything. But was I wrong and made the best choice ever. I found Chrissy on social media and will never turn back. She is always very well mannered and knows what she’s doing with my hair. The outcomes are always bombastic. She will be my go to for myself and my son which she has done very well with which is hard with 7 year olds. I will not go to another stylist if I can manage that. She is a great listener and does what is needed. I always have faith and love everything that has been done! - 3/31/22Chrissy made my hair great again, back in September I was looking to repair my hair (it was a mess with 4 different waves of colors) because my wedding was coming up. It took a couple of hours but she made my hair come back to live without cutting. My hair was damaged with bad bleach yellowish try different places before and the color would last a month before fading away. But Chrissy explained to me the different techniques she could do it and I am glad when with the one she recommended was matching the colors one by one until we got my natural color with a sparkly purple ❤️ so far the best technique for applying color, I love that she explained to me everything, she made sure I was feeling ok, until today 6 months later and haven't faded.
I wish I could show pictures before and after, but I can’t.

She’s rude and doesn’t have much experience or knowledge like the others. - 3/12/22I went back to hair cuttery to have them try to fix my hair they had to call someone in early. My hair looks so much better now.. thank you Sara I appreciate you coming in early to fix my hair
I just went to get my hair trimmed and trimmed only, the hairdresser cut at least 3 inches off my hair and its the worst hair cut I've ever had. - 1/16/22Today, I had a 3pm appointment. I arrived 10 mins early to check-in. I was greeting immediately, checked in told that my stylist would be Grace and she was finishing up a cut. Her customer left and she approached me a 3:20 stating that she would be with me. She went into a back area of the shop while I sat there waiting it's now 3:30..finally I got up and told another stylist that I was leaving..she said she would tell the manager and didn't know what was wrong with Grace. She said maybe another stylist could squeeze me in. I was uncomfortable being ignored for such a long time that I was leaving. A 45 min. wait with an appointment and a missing stylist, not knowing if she would return and when.
