- 4/21/23The last two appointments I made with Connie, she was late--20 minutes the first time and over 30 today. She came up front, told me it would be a little while, and that I should "relax" because everyone there was laid back. (Not me, apparently!) I left when I saw that she was only about 2/3 through with the person she had been working on since before I arrived. Was that a walk-in? Two other people came in, had their haircuts, and left while I was sitting there. I make sure to be on time for appointments because I know your time is valuable, but so is mine, and it's disrespectful to confirm the time both on my phone and on my email, and then pay no attention to it. I was very nervous to get my hair cut for the first time in a couple of years, but everyone at the salon was very kind and welcoming, and Jonathan did an amazing job with my hair. - 2/7/22One of the worst cuts I’ve ever had. She didn’t listen to what I asked for but after the second cut to I was afraid to say anything because it was too late. I thought we’ll it’s not what I asked for or even very flattering for me but it’s a good cut. Wrong! I found all these uneven ends when I got home. I had been coming here for years! And every time the stylist I found that got me” left I gave the place one more chance. - 3/24/21Went in for highlights and for some reason it did not take. I called when I got home and left a message for the sylist to call me back to discuss other options but she never called me back. It's not easy cutting hair w/ crazy curls but he did it with ease. Definitely going to be a repeat customer! - 1/27/20My family and I have been a client of Tia’s for 5+ years, however over the past year or so I have been struggling with what to do with my “natural highlights” (gray hair). The idea of transforming from a red box colored hair to a natural/gray friendly color was quite terrifying (all of the skunk hair roots were by no means very flattering). Armed with my unrealistic and unattainable hair transformation video from the internet I go in for my hair appointment. I spoke to Tia about what I wanted and showed her “my perfect silver hair transformation video”. Tia asked me a ton of questions to ensure that we were on the same page about what my hair goal was & the ability or in my case the inability to achieve it with my years of boxed hair color and hair type- she really listened and helped me better understand the magical chemical science behind hair color. She was insightful, understanding, and patient while we discussed what would work with my hair and the direction we would be taking to achieve the best results for me. After her hair wizardry, I left there with beautiful blonde hair feeling great and looking so much better than when I came in. The color and cut is so good, I feel like a new woman every time when I look in the mirror and I have gotten so many compliments on my new hair. Thank you Tia, you are simply the best! You have a VERY loyal client in me!!!
- 1/26/20I asked them to dye my hair with my own color brand that I brought and the lady (seems a manager) did not want because of "liability". So they used their brand "Redken" and told me was exactly the same color that I use. I accepted and the result was horrible!!!! my hair got YELLOW very different at what I wanted. Now I had to buy a toner to take off that horrible color. My hair got stained because of that. very bad experience!!
They had to show me the catalog of colors but she did not want it when I asked to do that. - 11/23/19Was treated very poorly at this salon today. Made my appointment almost 2 months ago with Katelyn. Once there, I was told Katelyn double booked me. I was put to the side and left longer than necessary with dye in my hair while Katelyn began working on another client. When I came back she told me to go to a different chair and all of my personal things had been moved. She roughly towel dried my hair and then said, you’re good to go. She clearly knew I made my appointment (like the last 2 for wash/dye/dry. Why would I want to get my hair dyed and leave with soaking wet hair? She announced that she would find someone to dry my hair, made me move to a 3rd chair with a random stylist I’d never laid eyes on who then dried my hair. My stylist didn’t even have the courtesy to walk up to the counter and apologize or try to make things right. A 3rd random person cashed me out and I left. Very poor treatment. I would have much rather you called me to reschedule if you made the mistake of double booking someone else at the exact time as my appt than treat me in the way I was treated today. You just lost a client...sadly, it doesn’t seem like you care.
