    I wish I could give 0 stars. It took about 2 years for my hair to grow out to the length I wanted. I asked for 2 inches taken off. Linda took about 6 inches off. My hair went from the middle of my back to just below my shoulders. I was in her chair for no more than 10 mins and she had me up and out. I ended up going to the Hair Cuttery in St. John crying, I was so upset. Michelle not only stayed past her shift to fix my hair that was uneven, but she went above and beyond. I cannot thank her enough. I will NEVER go back to the Hair Cuttery in Schererville.

    Tarynn is the best! She helped me manage my hair when I broke my hand. She cut it to a length I could brush through it and freshened up my roots a couple of weeks later when I was back to being able to properly shampoo my own hair. I'll always come back to Tarynn, she is the friendliest stylist I've had yet and knows exactly how to make a lady feel good about herself.

    It’s my second time here and I don’t think I am coming back again. I had longer hair the first time I came and had the same services done but I paid more the second time when there were less hair to cut and treat. It just doesn’t make sense including the lame excuses I was given.

    Me and my daughter went in for a cut and color. I showed the stylist( who I think was the manager) the picture of the hairsty and color I wanted ( highlights and low lights at one of the little lights to try to match my roots that is totally not what she did when she showed me in the mirror she told me that it would look different in outside light and I shouldn’t panic but as soon as I got home I realized that that was nothing like the picture I showed her not even close to totally different styles and colors I can’t believe I spent so much money just to get disappointed with something that isn’t even close to what I asked for I held my phone with the picture of the hairstyle and color I want it out the whole time so that she can reference it if she needed to while cutting and coloring me there’s no excuse for those I can’t believe I wasted my money!$296.0

    Darla is phenomenal :)
    I recently moved from Illinois and have tried a few places. I sat in the chair, Darla asked what I was looking for in a haircut and WOW! She absolutely nailed it! It’s by far one of the best cuts I’ve ever gotten. I was beyond amazed by her talent. It was a great atmosphere and I found my new salon!

    So I have been a customer of Haircuttery for 15 years... I spend about $130 each time I go.. and I just had to cancel my appointment this morning when I walked in because they do not honor my medical exemption. so I am telling all of you with medical exemptions Schererville Hair Cuttery does not honor that so please don't visit that Salon anymore if you have a medical condition because they care more about the mask on your face than your health.

    Gaby was great. I always just get a trim and typically people will quickly rush through it and send me on my way. But she took her time and the cut looked great. It had also been a very long time since I’ve gotten a cut as I am very busy. Most make me feel bad for how long it’s been but Gaby didn’t make me feel that way at all. It was a great visit and I will get my hair done with her from now on.

    Breanna was amazing went for a cut and highlights told her what I liked with some pics and she went out of her way to explain the service she thought would be to my liking. Amazing thank you sweetie!!!!
