- 7/31/22I went to this branch because it is close to my work.
I was very very disappointed in my cut.
The girl cut my hair at the nape of my neck shorter than the rest of my hair. it won't fit in my ponytail when I pull it up, I did not get layers so why would she cut the bottom shorter. - 4/25/22I am not happy. You claim to welcome walk-in customers, but the last two times i tried to do that, I couldn't be taken care of. I have been using Hair Cuttery for years but now I have to rethink my choice. My schedule is such that I often cannot keep appointments like getting my hair cut. - 7/11/20For my consultation the stylist said my hair was healthy then recommended I try clairifying shampoo to make the process easier when she actually dyed my hair, so I got the shampoo and used it. Coming to my appointment the service wasn't friendly or professional. The stylist I saw didn't listen very well to what I asked or said and wasnt very attentive. The stylists were in sandals which is a safety concern for their dress code as far as I know, bad talked employees (mainly the stylist I used to see who is amazing), high fived eachother about not caring if they were fired and how they wanted to leave the store in a year anyways. When it came to the process itself I got left most of the time sitting alone or with my head over a sink while she was on her phone or socializing with her co-workers, had me leave my purse and belongings across the store where I couldnt even keep an eye on it, got bleach almost in my eye and on my eyebrow, burnt my scalp with the blow dryer, melted parts of my hair off (and threw it on the front of the cape), cut my hair when I said my mom would do that and as far as results go they were far from what I asked for or wanted and my hair was so damaged it was like straw and I couldn't even run my fingers through it. She then seemed to try to say I bleached my hair too much (I've bleached it one time months and months ago) and about how it was damaged and I should get some special products to try to help get it semi back to normal. She had four bowls of bleach on my head for probably if I had to guess at least 45 minutes, and tried to lift me from a dark brown to a bleach blonde (in one go) which wasn't necessary.
When I went home and showed my mom (who used to do hair but doesn't like to do color anymore) felt my hair and went straight to corporate for my money back bc we had to shave my head bc of damage. We kept the shaved hair as evidence and even shaved my hair is weird shades of blonde and red and is extremely patchy. My mother now calls the bag of hair straw bc it's insanely damaged. - 6/5/20I have been going to Etta for years, always smiling pleasant and does a great job consistently...and I have put her thru slot of styles over the years.
