I made an appointment at the Hair Cuttery for myself and my two daughters over a week ago for a wash, cut, and blow-dry for today. I made it online, and I picked the package that includes all that that says it costs $26, and I got a confirmation email that the total would be $78 ($26 x 3). We went to the Hair Cuttery today for our appointment, and we had to wait twenty minutes (no big deal) and then two stylists came and took my daughters back and they told me I would be next. My daughters' stylists confirmed with me that their services would be $26 each. When a stylist finally took me, she asked me what I wanted, and after I told her, she said it would be $50. I said, "Why isn't it $26?" She said, "Because I'm a master stylist." I said, "I didn't ask for a master stylist." She said she would check if any lesser stylists (?) would be available that day, and then she said came back and told me that no, they were all booked. I asked to speak to a manager, and the manager told me that she could do my hair for me, but even she said it would cost $40 because of her skill level. I ended up not getting my hair done today. It seems like a very bad way to do business.
