- 2/17/23If I could give zero stars I would. I went to have and 1 1/2 cut of my hair. Straight and even. All Ziva had to do was follow the existing hair cut. But she cut off about 4 inches and now the front is much shorter than the back. It was all one length when I came in. Avoid her at all cost. I happened to have a tape measure in my purse and showed her the difference between 1 12 inches and 4 inches. She just got argumentative. Saying to look at the floor. She started with an 1 1/2 and just kept going around and around cutting off more. I should have said I changed my mind when she shampooed my hair. She did the worst shampoo I have ever had in my whole life and that some years. I can't express how unhappy I am. She asked to cut my bangs so glad I didn't let her do that too. - 12/15/22So impressed with my haircut. After going to the same stylist for close to 50 years I was nervous going to someone new. I never should have been withJoe. He made me feel welcome the
moment I walked in the door. You can tell he loves his job by the way he moved his hands thru my hair as he was cutting. He asked questions about the way I wanted it cut. suggested a shampoo that would be good for my hair without any pressure to buy it. I would say this is the BEST HAIRCUT I have had in years. - 8/21/22KB cut my hairs, she is still learning I feel like. She doesn’t even cut in a proper way (make sections and then start cutting hairs). I had to ask her to part my hair and then cut it. - 1/7/22The first time I went to Eliza, she was professional, friendly, fussed all over me and did a nice color and cut. She charged me an appropriate price. The second time I went there, she was argumentative, miserable and cut my hair totally different from the picture that I showed her- which was how I always had my hair cut. The color was bad- she claimed it was my scalp showing whrn in fact she missed an area of my hair. When I went to pay my bill for this service, she charged me $20.00 more than the first time. I paid and left and was extremely upset. I believe that she makes up the charges and charges whatever she wants to. She should be fired. Actually all of the staff there are lazy and unfriendly. They all look sloppy and with messy hair.
This particular shop should be closed of sell of the hair stylists should be fired and get competent staff in there to replace these incompetent people. - 11/15/21Great experience! I read reviews before going to this location but truly believe everyone deserves a chance and I am happy I went! Tigist was wonderful and friendly. She asked me exactly what I wanted and made suggestions where needed. She did an amazing job and I would highly recommend her. - 8/31/21First, I've had several appointments at this location (and many other Hair Cuttery's in different states in the past). I love the convenience of scheduling an appointment on-line. I have a tendency to put off hair cuts. That said, I have been satisfied in the past & had several different stylists. No problem. I assume they are all professionals. Today was truly the worst experience I've ever, ever had in my life! I arrived, had an appointment & was handed over to another stylist because the original stylist was completing his work with another customer. Sure, no problem, I thought. I'm not sure if this is some discontentment as an employee or if this was this gals normal disposition. I sat in the chair & the stylist asked what I was there for, I explained 17 foils is what I scheduled my appointment for, further explaining, I would like highlights & lowlights and a hair trim, if she had the time. She walked away and returned with a bowl mixed up several minutes later. I seen the bowl and was concerned, I asked if we were going to discuss color options. She said yes, but this is a bleach solutions and then walked away again, this time returning with a book. I let her know, I wasn't completely certain of how foils work as I've only had a few experiences with "color"- highlights & lowlights in the past (I have had many perms). So she began to apply the bleach & foils. When she finished, she asked if I had decided on my color, when I said I'd like a dark color & light color if that was possible. She said she couldn't do that. I had to choose one color. I then asked what colors should I be looking at? And asked for her guidance. She showed me the light colors only, I explained, I would like the color to be different than mine to look like highlights at least. I chose a color, she then walked away, went to the backroom & did not say anything...Eventually, she returned to check me then told me to go to the sink, she removed some of the foils, two so roughly that I yelled ouch when she pulled my hair the second time. Then she disappeared to the backroom again...to watch tv on her phone (very loud!) again without giving me any indication of when she would return. She did return and fiddled with the foils on my head, all of a sudden she grabbed my hair & pulled my head down to the rinse bowl and began spraying my head again. No warning. No indication that she would like for me to lean back again..... after several more incidences of what I would qualify as rough handling, I was done with the coloring process. I initially had requested a hair trim too. I almost walked out without it. I did go through with allowing her to trim my hair. Held my breath. She pulled out the blow dryer & I said no. She insisted she must blow dry to see how my color turned out (or maybe to charge me more?).

I came in on Dec 18, 2020 for the second time. She think she is smart and cut my hair wet and my hair is so jacked up and different lengths. I have to live and look at my hair everyday until I feel that it has grown out enough that I will be satisfied with someone to trim my hair. I read through reviews and saw that someone name Elsa had good reviews. I decided to call and try her back in July 2020. I explained to Elsa all the bad experiences that I’ve had with different stylist. Trimming my hair uneven cutting to much off, doing my hair the way they wanted. After explaining all that to Elsa I thought she understood everything I’ve been through. The first time she did my hair it was good. But oh boy the second time 12/18 it was a horrible experience cut to much of my hair off and cut it uneven throughout my hair all my hair is different lengths. Here I go again horrible experience. I so over trying out these people that have a license to trim/cut hair. Very very dissatisfied customer. Second and last time!!! Poor service from Elsa!!!
Elsa made her own judgement call after seeing my hair texture she can cut it wet. I’m not trusting these people who are called beauticians any longer.
