- 3/20/24Had my hair cut today 3/20/24 by Mimi M. at the Waldorf MD location. I went in with shoulder length Very Thin hair and I wanted layers for fullness, which was cut and styled to achieve that. So I was pleased with my new look on my 60+ self. I will be going back for maintenance. - 1/22/24Horrible time management this is the second time I've come into the waldorf location and had to wait over an hour because of their poor scheduling. - 1/15/24I made an appointment online to get my hair cut and styled before a nice dinner with my boyfriend. I walked in there and Krystal said she'd take care of me. I told her I wanted my hair cut to the top of my breasts and she said okay. The initial cut was perfect and then it kept getting shorter as she tried to even it out. I voiced concern saying it was getting too short. She told me to go to the shampoo bowl and we can fix my hair afterwards. By the time we got back to her chair I saw the left side was about an inch longer than the right. I asked for some LIGHT layers beginning near the bottom of my ear. She kept cutting past that. I AGAIN voiced concern saying it was too short. She told me "it's fine, the back is long still". The back was about 5 inches shorter than my initial request still. But she still kept cutting. It took everything in me to not cry. Plus, when my boyfriend (who's card I used to pay) went in to get a refund because i came out sobbing at my "mushroom mullet", she was rude to him and claimed I "liked" everything when she asked how it was looking. We did not get a refund for this crappy job. I did not say I liked it once. Even when i got up from the chair to go pay, I only said thanks. I am EXTREMELY upset, embarrassed and frustrated at her for just doing whatever she wanted. When I go somewhere to get my hair done and explain what I am in envisioning, I expect to get pretty darn close to that. This awful haircut is beyond fixing. Thanks to Krystal I will have to just deal with it. Do not give her your business unless you want to look like Lord Farquad.
- 1/15/24I loved working for hc great company unfortunately the general manager and assistant manager criminalized my character and fired me on my day off for something that happened 2 months ago . It’s been 3 days since I’ve been fired and bryce and Donna didn’t fire me correctly now I’m locked out of my zenoti account that I have previous pay on. And Bryce blocked my number , he has no idea the way he fired me locked me out of my personal account , I’m looking to further action to file discrimination , as they have deformation of character and discrimination act towards me , love the company but they management is causing issues , I mentioned criminalized because they never ask me what happen an they made it seem like I was checking clients out correctly and I like the company to know I was a loyal hard working stylist got great reviews and I enjoyed working there I just don’t want the company to be mislead by their decision

- 8/18/23Wish I could give zero stars. Had cut and blow dry by master stylist, so price is higher. Stylist did not show me the back when done styling and I didn’t ask as had been to her before. Got home and family members pointed out how it looks like it was cut into three tiers horizontally across the back of my head. It’s a short cut so will take me years to grow out. Really wish I could upload a picture. Called and requested refund but that will not stop the tears and agony of growing out a botched hair cut. Hair Cuttery should pay me the price of the cut and blow dry, $50 every month until my hair grows out enough to where it can be corrected. - 3/19/23Had an 1130 appointment on 3/19 at 1130. Was not greeted initially when I came in so I sat down. Was greeted and I told the person who I was and who I was here to see. Amelia was working on another client and asked another stylist if she could shampoo the lady next to me. Well when this other stylist said you can come on back o thought she was talking to me but she wasn’t so she rudely said no not you I have to do her etc. So Amelia finally told me who she was and that she was doing someone else’s hair and it would be 30 minutes. Well I didn’t not make an appointment to wait. I don’t know about this place but the lack of customer service is bad. I’m surprised they are still in business. - 1/16/23It was such an extremely disappointing and equally insulting experience. I booked online for an appointment with whatever stylist was available for my kid. We were on time for our appointment, we were checked in from what I was told, we waited an hour and then I had to say something. The stylist said she did not know I was here and that I would have to make an appointment with her for next week. I made the appointment with whoever was available at that time. Why did it have to just be with her? I basically wasted an hour and then was told sorry and make another appointment with her for next week. Imagine me and my little kid just sitting there and NO ONE is even acknowledging anything for a WHOLE HOUR until I said something. NO ONE bothered to step up to help the situation even though the entire staff can see us sitting there waiting up front. It was a haircut for 5 year old boy. I come home to see my appointment was acknowledged as a no show. - 10/2/22My worse experience here this year. I have worse ; one person mess my hair up so bad i needee 3 free hair cuts to get it back. Yet i still came went to someone else. NOW today i sat for 30mins after my appointment. Too be lied to about my services and charge. Than was told WHAT the styles wont do because she is behind. Yet still want to up charge me. In the end i paid exactly what i knew the price was plus had her do what i came 4. She was upset mad idc.
