Checked in online for Touch of Color with a 150 minute wait. Showed up at the recommended time for the stylist to tell me there wasn’t enough time for the coloring process. She offered to make an appointment with the assistant manager the next day. I declined and asked for just a cut. After a 10 minute wait, it was my turn. During the wash and cut, my stylist Madi was having conversations with the other stylist but not really with me, even though I tried to chime in here and there. While I was in the chair I noticed that there was a lot of hair all over the floor and I felt like the salon had an overall dirty appearance. I was not offered a blowdry, even though that was originally my intent. When I got home and dried my hair, I noticed my hair was uneven and the layer was not subtle but looked like I had a part of hair that was glued to the layer of hair underneath. The first time guest cut and dry promotion was not offered to me.
My stylist Madi was friendly when she did interact with me and her advice and recommendations were nice. I just wish the experience would have been more customer oriented and that I didn’t have to go get the cut fixed. Will go talk to the manager tomorrow.
