I had an appointment at 5:45, I called in and was told this time was available. When I arrived, it looked like my stylist was just starting on someone else. I was told to wait and they would pop their head out of the store when they were ready for me. I left at 6:15 after waiting 30 minutes. I’d normally brush this off but this was the second time this happened to me at this location. The last time I waited 45 minutes. I decided to try the place once more and can’t see myself going back. If you don’t have time for someone then don’t schedule an appointment. If someone shows up and they’re going to be waiting for a long time, provide some basic communication to let them know what to expect. After I left, I never received a call or anything asking what happened or offering an apology. After we did some shopping we drove past at 6:45 and they were still working on the same person. I find it disrespectful to peoples time and situations. Not all of us have the luxury of waiting around for an hour for an appointment to start. The lack of communication and customer service will make it really difficult to give this or any location another try. I’m always respectful and tip at least 15%, I don’t think it’s much to ask for that respect back. Especially when your the one getting paid for the service.
I don’t know about the basics of running a store, I’m sure there are breaks and whatnot involved but I know my haircut takes 15-20 minutes, it’s a basic men’s cut. I don’t understand why one of the 2 women couldn’t have stepped in to help cover for the guy supposed to cut my hair or at least offer a timeframe to me while I was there, after I waited for 30 minutes, or even calling after they realized I likely left. There were so many chances that this negative customer service experience could have been turned around but no one cared to take any of the opportunities. Point taken, if you don’t want my business I’ll even pay more to get it done somewhere else.
