- 8/31/23WORST hair salon experience I've ever experienced. Dana was cold and unfriendly upon arriving and throughout the whole experience. When shampooing and conditioning my hair, she rushed super fast through the process. She was rough and clumsy with my hair. My hair was not washed properly. I have long, thick black hair. When I explained how I wanted my hair cut, she wasn't as attentive and caring. I felt brushed off. She was SUPER rough while detangling my hair pulling at my scalp multiple times. I had to ask her to be gentle with my hair. She subtly rolled her eyes and said "sorry" yet didn't seem to care as she continued pulling at it roughly. When she began cutting my hair, she didn't part my hair at all. I had to ask her to do so to which she replied that she will. She never did. I asked her to part it for the second time to which she replied for me to do it myself and handed me the comb, which I did. It was a simple straight part. She rushed through my haircut as well. I felt super uncomfortable and uncared for. - 8/19/23I had an appointment for noon today for a cut and style for a wedding. I walked in 10 mins before my appointment and a women Who was taking a payment for another person, asks my name and appointment time then tells me to take a seat. I sat there for 40 mins as other customers and even walk in customers were taking care of. Finally- after 40 minutes- I got up and asked what was going on. It was then that I was informed my stylist had left. I walked away with no hair cut and no hair style. I also wasted more than an hour of my time. - 10/25/22First timer, will never be back. Nicole cut my hair and I came home and I had a hard line and my hair looks like a mullet. I’m a retired hair dresser so I’m able to fix the hard lines and the shelf in my hair but I should not have to do that when I get home. I’m very upset with my experience and I will not be returning. I just wanted $30 I could’ve had my child do a better job. I asked for a trim, she never asked where I part my hair and now it lays terribly. - 9/22/22Angelica cuts great BUT $28 plus a good tip is to much. I get a 2 for the top and 0 for the side and back. I get a cut every 3 To 4 weeks. Your prices for a 5 minute mens buzz is way out of line. No reflection on Angelica just to much money. Moving on to a men's barber shop. - 9/1/22I found the staff very friendly, with the haircut I was not 100% satisfied because when I got home I saw that I had parts of the back of my hair that were not the same, in front the cut looked beautiful but I had to go to my old place to have it fixed. the price seemed a bit expensive to me $24 because it was only cut without washing and without styling.Response from HairCuttery • 9/2/22Hi Ana, Thank you for letting us know about this. - 8/15/22If I could give less than one star I would. I came to this establishment and had a seemingly pleasant experience until I realized my hair was chopped up and nicely asked Nikki(the stylist) to even out my trim. She said she could but when I got there she tried the explain to me how this is just how my hair grows and that she only clipped my ends. - 1/27/22Have called their number 15 times and every single time it's busy. I even called their line while standing outside their window, no one was on the phone and yet it was STILL ringing as busy.
