- 8/23/22I’m disappointed because when asked how much the hair stylist should cut my hair we agreed that shoulder length would be the cut.
I was engaged in conversation & before I knew it: it was too late! Now My hair is shorter than CHIN LENGTH! I didn’t feel comfortable to show
my disappointment BUT I WON’T be going back!!
To make it worse I was charged a high price for my patronage. I’ve had this stylist before ….she didn’t
listen to me this time!

The Hair Cuttery Team - 8/5/22I just got back from a walk-in appointment. I have thin grey hair and have no intensions of coloring it. During my styling, I was told, "You need to go shorter than you asked for, because your hair is too thin," and "You need to let me put color in because whoever did it last didn't do it right," and "I NEED TO EAT MORE BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PROTEIN."

My stylist l cut my hair far shorter then what I asked for, left the top completely uneven and gave me a jacked up fade that's too high! In edition, she was incredibly rushed and fast and even told me she was speeding through my cut to get to her next client. - 9/29/20While my stylist was very nice I was not happy with the outcome of the service. The color didn't cover my gray. The flat iron looked no different than the blowout. I went back a 2nd time for color touch-up & I still have visible gray along with hair breakage around my perimeter from the 2nd attempt to cover my gray. Also the employees may want to whisper when in the back speaking badly about clients (others & me) & other employees. Lastly there was an incident where an employee thought she lost something & a customer looked directly at me & uttered to her stylist "maybe it was stolen". Luckily it was left at home. I gave 2 stars because my stylist was personable and nice but the experience was a disaster for what I paid.
- 6/28/20Carissa is wonderful, and until the pandemic was the only person I would let near my hair. After my sister and then my mom each cut my hair over the last few months, I can't wait until I can go back to Hair Cuttery and be under the expert eye of Carissa once again! Great salon, warm and friendly people, and master stylist in Carissa.
- 4/7/19Never again. I showed her 3 pics of how I wanted it cut and she did what she wanted. Practically shaved my head. I just got released from the cancer dr and if you saw my hair you would think I was getting chemo therapy. I’m so upset. Never ever again!,,,

incredibly kind. Won’t go back to my fancy shmancy/overpriced Manayunk salon. My hair has finally found a good friend! - 3/1/19This store has no management. I came in for a haircut. Just a haircut. I was charged $42. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they didn't have one. I called multiple times and was once again told "they do not have a manager and they are competent to run themselves". Yet no one can explain why I was charged $42 or can speak to me regarding this. When I asked for the next chain of command, I was told I would be called and still have not heard. I have called back multiple times and still cannot find someone to speak to.
- 1/31/19I use the Hair Cuttery App and it is super easy to book our appointments. I have 2 little boys that make it hard to just drop in. On the app we can book ahead. Aglena is awesome with the boys, and they love her. Couldn't recommend her more for children. She is patient and kind, and very good with them. We love her!
