Worst experience possible. Perfect example of “you get what you pay for.” Just go find a legitimate salon to do your hair. I had planned to go to another hair place to get a cut, checked in and was told that even though the wait on the app said 5 minutes I would be waiting over an hour. I said no thanks and left. There is a close by hair cuttery so as I drove over I called to see if there was a wait. The girl on the phone said yes about 20 minutes for just the shampoo and cut I needed. I said great and she began to put me in the books, then explained that if I was an appointment, a walk-in could technically cut in line and go before me. She didn’t understand that I was on my way over already and finally told me just to come in because I wouldn’t have anyone jumping the line if I was a walk in. I thought great! I hadn’t washed my hair in a few days and wanted a good deep wash and cut to feel good about it again. 30 seconds later I go into the salon and the girl who I spoke to on the phone quickly acknowledged me then started having trouble with the computer, I stood there because I didn’t know if she needed info from me. Then an older woman came up and very curtly said “we will be with you in a minute.” And stared me down until I sat. About 5 minutes later the first girl pointed to someone in the salon and said she’ll come get you in 10 minutes to start your wash! I said great and waited. 15 minutes go by and I see the girl come up to the front to, what I assumed, grab me. Instead a girl who was 20 minutes early for a 1:00 appointment comes in. The employee greets her and starts to explain that because there are walk ins AND SHES 20 MINUTES EARLY she still has to wait, but instead says you know what I’ll take you back now. I was so mad I waited another 10 minutes and left, I wasn’t about to give this place 18 dollars after that mess. I could’ve been finished before that girls appointment was even scheduled to start if she had taken me back when she said she would. Instead I got to wait for 35 minutes and was never spoken to after being told I was next and having an appointment jump in front of me after I was told that couldn’t happen if I was a walk in. Moral of the story is, I’m never going back to a hair cuttery. Just don’t offer appointments if you can’t keep it together and juggle both.
