- 7/8/20Terrible customer service and rude demeanor. I went online to make an appointment for me and my daughter. Was early for the appointment. They totally ignored us. When 5:30 came and went we asked about our appointment and we were told sorry can’t do it today. I said I made an appointment online and gave my credit card info as required to make the appointment. They said they saw our names on the list but we needed to come back tomorrow. This is very unacceptable. We could have gone elsewhere earlier in the day but trusted they would take care of us. Terrible customer service and lack of customer respect. I better not get charged the $40 needed up front to get the appointment.

- 1/5/20My hair color session did not turn out very well. Very uneven!
- 1/5/20It has been a while since I had gone to Hair Cuttery. Ester used to do my hair but she retired. I chose Fazela. She doesn't chit-chat too much (which is good because it was 10am on a Saturday and I was not in a talking mood). I wanted my hair to be red (like fire engine red). She did so. The color was good but it was patchy in some spots. Granted my hair was all sorts of different colors from fading but it still looked like parts of my previous hair color was showing. Fazela said that the cause of the uneven colors was due to the lighting or the fact that my hair was still wet. My hair was just blowed dried and the lighting was fine. I think she made an error and didn't want to admit it. I asked her kindly to make some changes...still not exactly what I wanted. She added a bunch more due to the top of my head and now it seems too extreme! I put my faith into the stylist but I feel like she wasn't quite understanding what my issue was. Plus, red hair tends to fade quickly so I guess everything will even out? I could see that I was approaching the two and half hour mark of my stay and her clients were starting to stack up so I didn't want to be a bother.
I am giving a two star review because of the online appointment system. I wanted to use the 50% off coupon for any service over $15. The manager (I think) tried to explain to me that since the stylist that I picked was not part of the "Select Stylist" section of the coupon she would not honor the 50% off. How the heck was I supposed to know that through their app when there is no explanation or clarification of what that means? She offered me a $10 off coupon instead (). I still paid about $100 (including tip). I wanted to use the coupon since it expires on Jan 6th. I hadn't gotten my hair cut and styled in a while but this secret language and run-round explanation about this 50% off coupon really irked me and really devalued my experience. I also noticed that they do not have the "smile back guarantee" decal on their mirrors. Wonder why... - 1/27/18Esther is great — I’ve been seeing her for about 8 years
