She knows that I was having a hip problem And she walked me out to the car so I wouldn't fall because of the 3 steps there I think that someone should put railings by the step so people with need and hip problem and I have to worry about falling. Just a suggestion - 10/9/22Do not go there on a Saturday or Sunday.. went there trying to get a mini Bob cut and there was a lady there which I’m pretty sure had an attitude because she had to work that day… told me that she couldn’t cut my Bob because they were hair extensions.. which made NO sense if they were hair extensions or wig.. if you know how to cut hair it shouldn’t be an issue?? the lady at the counter had eyelashes so long and she was so ghetto and acted like she didn’t wanna help me made me so upset I’ve gone to the hair Cuttery before and have gone to that particular location and I’ve always been helped by gracious nice other ladies(white ones) except for the ghetto one that was in there today who acted like she didn’t want or like her job..I went to great clips got my bob cut in 2.3 seconds.. Hair Cuttery Team - 4/12/22Paid $24 for a signature cut. On the website it says a shampoo and conditioning comes with the package. My experience with Miki was awesome the first time I came but the second time I did not get a shampoo or conditioning and the girl cut way more of my hair off than I instructed her to do. This is the second time that I went to a hair cuttery and didn’t get what I paid for. Hair Cuttery Team - 4/9/22I didn’t have a problem with customer service. I went to this location a few months ago and Miki did my hair. I absolutely loved what she did and wanted to keep her as my hair stylist. A few months went by so I pulled up the website to make an appointment with her and she was no longer there. I was devastated but I made an appointment with another stylist. I paid $24 for the signature cut which was supposed to include shampooing and conditioning which I did not get. I didn’t say anything at the time because I thought maybe I read something wrong ( which I knew that I hadn’t ) I looked it up and sure enough I was cheated out of the shampoo and conditioning. The girl also cut way more than I asked her to. Hair Cuttery Team. - 3/12/22Racist and rude employee. She was the receptionist I believe (hopefully not a stylist) who was working at 9am on 03.12.22 at Chesapeake/ greenbrier location 1412 greenbrier PKWY.
I had a 9 o’clock appointment booked this morning. I showed up at 8:55 as the website says that they open at 8 o’clock on Saturdays. I go up to the door and it is locked. It is pouring rain outside and I looked gbrought the window and see a woman counting money or doing something at the desk and she does not acknowledge me for at least a minute although she sees me standing at the door. I then look into the window and she points her finger at me holding her hand / finger up and basically tells me to wait. I keep looking at my watch it’s now been 3 to 4 minutes where she has not even acknowledged or come to the door and she’s letting me stand in the rain. I was completely baffled that I was not even greeted or that she even came to the door to explain that she could not let me in until she was done counting money. I went to my car and then called the salon and explained to her that the website said they were open at 8 and I was just trying to be courteous and make my appointment on time. She was completely rude to me and said no one can come in the building until the money is counted and they have not updated the website it’s not my fault. I told her I would not be coming to my appointment because I felt extremely racially profiled By this woman (one) and the fact that she made me stand outside without even acknowledging me. I will never spend my money at this unprofessional Hair Cuttery again and I will tell everyone I know never to go to this location as this o was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my lifetime here at Hampton roads. Hair cuttery team. - 11/7/21I went to the Crossways location early October and it was a disaster. THe lady I usually see doesn't work that there anymore. I specifically requested someone who can handle thick, course, natural hair. I was given some young white girl who can't do black hair. She had a nice personality but she should not lie to customers and say she could African American hair when she can't. Stay in your lane!! She didn't wash my hair well and didn't use the proper products to get it straight. Never again. I reported this to the district manager and got a partial refund but they get to keep the tip. I shouldn't have left a tip but I was trying to show class. However, this was not a happy day for me even gave her a second chance the same day to make it right. - 10/8/21Casey is pretty new to the salon. She was nice and helpful to me but she forgot to trim my sides. It was 1 inch longer than the back. When I got home, I needed to trim my side to get even with my back side. I guessed she trimmed my hair a lot shorter than I requested. What a bummer. I had to pay a lot for this mess. - 10/8/19Miki was nice, took her time but after a 2 and a half hour perm she was ready to send me out the door soaking wet. She blew it slightly damp, absolutely NO styling and said ‘I hope this takes for you.’ Very disappointing as I really wanted to look better than when I arrived and I look like a witch.
