I had a horrible experience this past week at Hair Cuttery. I went in wanting a partial highlight to touch up my roots before I went on vacation. When I came in asked the lady at the desk if there was someone that was good at highlights and seasoned as I wanted to make sure someone with experience could do my hair. She (Lydia) said she was going to take me. I explained to her how my hair is platinum blonde (white) and I wanted to ensure that my highlights would not be yellow or orange. She foiled my whole head and when taking them out she decided to tone my hair. After the toner came out my head was purple from the toner. Not only did she tone the hair she dyed, She toned my whole head changing my original hair color. She then washed and washed my hair getting some of the toner out and decided to re bleach my hair again. After 6 hours in the chair, 2 foiled bleaches on my head, she washes it again and my hair was reddish orange!! I was sooo upset. It was now 10:30 at night (they close at 9). I literally came in with better hair than I came out with. Not to mention. I PAID $300!!! I actually got charged for this!
I could not sleep that night so first thing in the morning I called and spoke with the assistant manager (Sara) and she told me I could come in and she would Fix my hair. She was very sweet in trying to do so. I was appreciative of her taking the time to fix what was done. She agreed my hair was not done properly and she ruined the color of my hair. However, another 5 hours in the chair and another bleach foil it still did not work. I literally cried, I was so upset. She tried her best but as she said it was hard correcting what was done completely. I literally spent $300 on my hair, had to sit in a chair for 11 hours total, had to call out of work to get it fixed and on top of that I’m still going to have to go somewhere else to fix my hair. I cannot believe I was charged for this service!! I am beyond upset that I spent all this money for me to have to go somewhere else that can fix what they messed up and pay again. This is completely unacceptable. I’ve literally been coming to Hair Cuttery for the past 5 years! I will not do it again!!
