I have always appreciated the convenience and affordability of Hair Cuttery. Today, I was so disappointed! I had an experience that made me never want to come back.
When I first arrived, I requested a cut and shampoo. I was then directed to my stylist who asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. I explained how I wanted a small amount trimmed off the ends with some texturizing. Not exactly sure why but she seemed perplexed and annoyed by my request. Then, she quickly snipped the ends of my hair, no texturizing, and literally finished in two minutes! Like she ran the scissors around the ends of my hair without barely even touching it. She said, “okay there you go, a dusting for your hair,” in a very rude manner. She never shampooed my hair and she led me to the checkout! I’m thinking, well, maybe I just got a deal and my cut will be cheaper, or maybe she’s prepping my hair before the shampoo, nope!!! I ask her if this is a cheaper haircut because it was so quick and she informs me that it’s the same price. Then I ask why she never shampooed my hair even though I requested it but she told me that I never asked her for a shampoo. Even though I was so ready to walk out the door, I stayed to get my hair shampooed because that’s part of the hair cut experience! I also asked if she could take a little more time cutting my hair, since it looked like she barely touched it. I have never visited the Hair Cuttery without first getting a shampoo before the cut! Also, I have never been treated so poorly at this salon. Sadly, I will now be searching for a new salon. I figure you can only get a good quality hair experience if you pay more.
