I came in for an eyebrow/lip waxing and usually most of the ladies do a great job, like Renne. There’s this elder lady with strawberry blonde/ ginger colored hair that did my service on (4/7/22) who apparently had 26 years of cosmetology on her shoulders(I should’ve known to not get my eyebrows done after she admitted that she’s tired of it , but “still loves it”), but nicked me with eyebrows tweezer (I was bleeding and it hurt a lot) put basically cold wax on my lips/brows, thinned & rounded out my brows (even though I asked for a cleanup around my eyebrows and asked her if she knew what I meant), muttered “f**k”while doing my lips (that’s when I knew that everything was jacked up). She “finished” my now paper thin brows (I HAD thick brows bc of my genetics) and I notice that my right brow was looking funky towards the ends (bc if my brows are gonna look like the classic thin 90’s brow at least I want them to be sisters) and she admitted “that she was being lazy bc her knee is messed up, She wasn’t wearing her glasses, and she didn’t want to nic me again.” She did it though. Additionally, when she was cleaning up the wax she was drowning me in the solution (I am assuming aloe Vera) and I kept on trying to move my head (so it doesn’t go down my nose) but she kept on wiping my face and applying pressure so I wouldn’t move. Anyways, I jumped out of the seat (ready to cry after I pay ) for it to be a whooping $30 for the service. Now, I understand if it was Renee charging for this kind of fee (bc of the amount of good reviews, service, and certification and maybe this nice lady that has 26 year on her back might be on the same tier logistics wise, but she could have at least given a discount for plucking a chunk of skin off. I tipped her (the standard) because I know that it’s rough these days and I can’t be a shallow customer, ( I just don’t have it in me ) but I’m still dissatisfied and crying that I have parentheses for brows for the next month. I came on here to just vent about it, so maybe they can give these ladies a longer break or something so they are not burnt out while working for the customers in the evenings.
