- 4/7/23I came into the Manassas location on Thursday 04/06/2023 as a walk in without an appointment, I have been to several other Hair Cuttery locations in the area and would like to say that this location was the most welcoming of them all, the lady working at the desk was very helpful and pleasant, the wait time was less than five (5) minutes, the Stylist I was assigned to was Letty and I will say that this was the best haircut and treatment that I have received in many years. Thank you to Letty and the staff.

I made an appointment but came in early to see If they were free and They said I had to wait 25 mins, so I came back in 25 mins, and they started washing my hair, and during that time when I had shampoo in my hair, the lady stopped and put a rag over my head and said to wait till she cut a woman’s hair that just had come in for her late appointment. So I waited 30 minutes and then got the shampoo out of my hair and proceeded with my haircut. I came into this place asking for long layers on my hair, and I came out of this place with long bangs that go to my ears and the rest of my hair the same length not cut but somehow it’s all thinned out also.

Hair Cuttery Team - 10/13/22Door and website says open til 9. I get to the store just before 7 and they are closed the person came to the door and said no they are closed and locked the door. It’s hard when my daughter is very nervous about getting her hair cut and she was ready. What is up with businesses not wanting peoples money. Hair Cuttery Team - 8/28/22Very Disappointed. I told Carmen I wanted a trim but please don’t cut it so short it looks like a man’s cut I’m trying to grow it out but needed it shaped up. Well she gave me exactly what I asked her not to do! I told her “I asked you not to cut it this short” and she said oh, I’m sorry, now you have a pixie cut! I’m growing out a pixie cut because it is not flattering on me. I’m very upset that she didn’t listen to me. I’m going to a wedding next weekend and I look terrible. Hair Cuttery Team. - 6/2/22I made an appointment for a cut and blow dry, I arrived and discussed with Teeny what I would like done, No problem. Went back to get my hair washed and as I sat in the chair the phone rang. No receptionist so she was doing double duty 2 calls came in and 2 walk ins. I felt the haircut was then rushed after she assisted everyone and no blow dry she said we were out of time and that it wasn’t booked that way. Hair Cuttery Team - 5/20/22In addition to getting an all over, long layers trim, I had asked the stylist to shave part of my head behind my ear. I described the exact shape I wanted (a crescent) and I showed two reference photos. What the stylist should have said was, “I am not trained/equipped to do that at all, let me book you with someone else or can we just do a regular haircut this time.” Instead, she proceeded to hack off and shave way more area than I had asked for, leaving the shaved portion at varying lengths in an entirely haphazard shape. It’s embarrassing looking. Beyond that, at no time did she hold up a mirror so that I could see what shape she made it or what I thought about it, leaving me to only discover the mess once I got home. Hair Cuttery Team - 5/9/22Why must they always ask "you have appointment?" The website and the sign on the window says walk ins welcome. Besides $24.00 for a hair cut???!!! I went to a barber shop even though I am a women and paid $17.00. There was customer who she was done with and no other customers in the place. So no I don't have appointment. I was appalled that my hair was BLEACHED to a horrible yellow and a purple TONER added but NO professional colour. The person was NOT a colorist..no idea about how professional hair colour is done. - 8/2/21If I could it 0 stars I would. I went in for a wash, blow dry, and flat iron like I always do and the girl tells my $97. SERIOUSLY. Then goes and check my history and says she never seen that I've been here before. And the other white stylist told her to tell me it's still $97 whether a different stylist charged me less or not.
