- 2/26/23Came to get my daughters hair cut. Based on the services listed on the website, I was expecting the $18 kids cut to include shampoo & conditioning. However, the service we got was simply a brushing, spray wet, and cut. I’m fine with how everything turned out, and it was nice to be in & out quickly. Service was very friendly. I guess I just expected the rate to be reduced because there was no shampoo & conditioning.
- 2/20/23I came in for some dye and a blow out. It took six and a half hours for it to be done and it was done horribly. My scalp is colored better than my hair and the stylist didn't do half of what I asked (don't flat iron my hair which she did and trim my dead ends which she didn't). Hair Cuttery Team - 1/30/23Very bad haircut. I have patchy spots all over my head. I have very thick hair and I can see my scalp in places. The assistant manager tried to fix it and made it worse. Another associate took over and tried to help, but at this point it is too late. It’s too short to flat iron. With product and hairspray it will not lay down. It so short it stands strait up. My bangs usually touch my eyebrows, they now show 3/4 of my forehead. It will take several months for it grow out enough to be the length it was when it went in for a 1/2” trim. I need a wig till I grows out. I’m not mad, but so very sad. They did not charge me for the haircut and offered to shape it up in two weeks for free, because it is too short in place to do anything else to it now. Hair Cuttery Team - 1/20/23I decided to use a new salon to have my hair done. My stylish was Hailey, she cut,colored and styled my hair. She did a fanstastic job and I will continue to go to Hailey on a regular basis.The shop was very clean and had a pleasant atomoshere. All the personnel were very considerate and polite. Hair Cuttery Team - 9/12/22Robert is the absolute best. I couldn't find anyone in Charlottesville to do tapein extensions so I drove to midlothian, and couldn't be happier. Hair Cuttery team. - 8/2/22I have always received excellent customer service at the Westchester location. Anh recently gave me a shorter cut that I LOVE! And Christina spent an hour and a half detangling my daughter's matted curls. She remained so positive, making my daughter feel at ease, and didn't over-charge us. Hair Cuttery Team - 6/20/22I scheduled a haircut for my daughter (9 years) with Autumn. The service she provide to my daughter and just her delightful demeanor inspired me to ask about a color service for myself. She was able to fit me in that same afternoon for a balayage and haircut. I came back that afternoon and just had the most wonderful experience, customer service was top notch. Best of all though, I walked away with exactly what I wanted and just felt so renewed. Hair cuttery team. - 4/2/22We booked online and sent out 17 year old daughter in to get a partial highlight. She has been to this salon on a few occasions. The booking was for a $113 partial highlight. When I received the emailed receipt there was an additional $99 in up-charges. After tip (we’ve taught her to tip 20%) it was $250 for a trim and highlight. When I got home her hair looked exactly the same color and the length was the same but edges were cleaned up. I feel as if our daughter not only got taken advantage of, but she also came home with the exact same hair and now have to go somewhere else to get it done correctly. - 2/6/22I had an appt at this location yesterday. I have been going here for a while, but my regular girl left but I decided to go anyway. When I first walked in, the place smelled like a bathroom. But I was like, ok, they use alot of chemicals, could be the mix. Then the girl I had to do my hair....let's just say wow. what was supposed to be a 45 minute appt ended up being 2 hours. She took a smoke break during my appt. How do I know this? My husband was sitting outside in the car and watched her. She kept talking about how people are supposed to tip, what kind of mental issues she had, her meds, that her cosmo school didn't teach men's haircuts, that she didn't know how to do certain cuts, she hardly ever uses a round brush so I was good practice, and towards the end, she kept burping and she is supposed to be a level 2 stylist? She has the same name as the girl who left and it seems like the current girl is using the other girl's credentials. She mentioned that people book with her thinking they are getting the girl who left. Holy Cow, LOL. AND I got charged 73.00 for a haircut and eyebrow wax. Never again. So very immature. Sorry ya'll. You let a really good girl go and now this is the people you have?? No thanks. Hair Cuttery Team. - 12/29/21Well, I asked for a “curtain bang” and this is what I got. Also I discovered when I got home that I was charged a “value package signature” which includes $3 off product. I bought a product and was never informed of this deal that’s stated on the website. Also, I can get the same product for a cheaper price at Ulta and on Amazon. When asked why the price wasn’t on the product itself, I was told that the register had trouble reading the price. I’m baffled, really. I’m getting my hair fixed by someone else. First and last time at Hair Cuttery.

- 3/16/20A few weeks ago, I posted feedback that my hair color was not noticeable. A few days later, my color turned slowly in to a very natural light brown. The hair stylist took her time to go beyond normal to make sure no bright orange was going to be left on my hair.
