- 11/5/23interesting experience. made my day very sad. I was reading the reviews and I could not believe that someone had almost the same experience. I took my boyfriend here and they chopped up all of his hair despite him saying to keep it long in the front in the back with a small trim. he even got a few scabs and it’s like almost completely bald. My haircut was OK but I was too thrown off seen my boyfriend be bald
- 10/31/23I wish I could give zero stars, the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I took my boyfriend here with me and they shaved all his hair off and disregarded what he said he wanted. My hair looks so choppy, the face frame was done incorrectly and my hair is uneven. I’m so upset, I’ve been here before and have never received a haircut this bad. Also, when the stylist was combing through my hair she was aggressively stabbing my ears and almost poked my eye out. The hair dryer was burning my neck, and it also seems like there’s no sanitation done here. It’s absolutely disgusting. Hair Cuttery Team - 9/20/23Awful belittling experience. “Master Stylist” pulled hair, complained that “you need to keep your head still”(only movement was talking), tried to upsell throughout cut, complained about hair washing(which she offered!)
Was going to speak with manager, only to find out the offending stylist(ha) WAS the manager. Never had such a poor experience. Hair Cuttery Team - 9/11/23Hair cut was fine but when I checked my receipt I realized I had been charged $7 for my eyebrows to be trimmed. It took less than a minute and I have never been charged before. It was not a beard trim it was literally my eye lashes. Hair Cuttery Team - 3/27/23I came in the other day for blonde highlights and instead they gave me dark brown hair, she did the bleach foils and my hair lightened very well, but I think her color theory was messed up because she put a dark brown toner on the highlights to over ride the orange she said and now my hair is all one solid dark brown color. I’ve been trying to call and speak with a manager about getting some of my money back and there’s never one there. I paid $250 for the exact opposite of what I asked for! Hair Cuttery Team. - 3/21/22The WORST!
Just went to my 1:00p appointment that I rescheduled thru Lang(stylist) on March 13th. I walked in and my stylist JOSH wasn’t even there but I got a 1:00 appointment?!?! I reminded Lang that SHE moved me and she kept saying “I don’t know, I don’t know” instead of offering to see me immediately (or apologizing) Lang and another stylist just took walk Ins instead of me!!! And how come customers don’t get called when their stylist isn’t in the building???
The WORST place in the West End!!!!! Never going back and intend to blast over social media as well.

At the barber in short pump now PAYING to fix it. As soon as we leave, I will be calling & you will be refunding my son the $30 you took. Hair Cuttery Team. - 11/8/21Hair cuttery in general is bad. If you’re going there you just need something quick done. But this one in short pump is awful. Customer service is ZERO! Went in for bang trim and 2 “stylists “ argued over who would do it even though they had no customers. One girl said she wanted to quit. ??? They never told me if someone was going to do it and they went in the back. So I left. Of course I’ll never go back but hopefully you will heed this review. There is no way they could ever work at a real salon. - 10/24/21Had keratin treatment for my hair last week from shortpump hair cuttery, at the time of consultation they mentioned that it will stay for 12 weeks but after first wash of my hair there is no keratin and my hair is how it was before keratin(curly and not looking good). They charged me $240 for keratin and they forced me to buy keratin products (Shampoo, conditioner and straightening balm) which costs around $125 and the lady who treated my hair while paying the bill she didn’t even allowed me to select tip percentage instead asked me to enter the amount. - 8/19/21These other reviewers had the wrong professional stylist. Should have used Connie (Constance)! I am a seasoned, mature woman who knows a born stylist when I meet one. - 6/30/21Worst hair cut I think I have ever received in my life. Showed the hairstylist my previous cut and the length that I wanted it and got nothing like it. She went shorter than what I wanted. Asked for layers and got uneven chunks. Asked for face framing and it looks like I have 2 Bob’s the underneath is way longer than the rest of my hair. DID I MENTION AGAIN SHE WENT WAY SHORTER THAN WHAT I ASKED FOR. I was going to go back to ask for a refund and to get it fixed but didn’t want to leave with it shorted than it already was.I rather save her the embarrassment because the cut looks awful. She was very nice I just don’t think she understood how to cut hair the way I wanted it. I come to hair Cuttery all the time and have never been so upset leaving the hair saloon.
