I sent my son in there for a color dye and he sent me a picture of his hair when it got done , I went to speak with the manager that was on duty because I was highly dissatisfied with the work that was done and the manager was very disrespectful , rude and ignorant to the fact that I was dissatisfied with the service. - 2/18/23The best customer experience I have ever had. Laveria was my stylist I came in for a drastic change and she walked me right through every decision. From the moment I sat in her chair I knew I was at the right place. Hair Cuttery Team - 8/27/22I had an appointment at 415 to which I was on time for. The stylist I had was no where to be seen. The lady at the desk told me she would call her, but couldn’t get ahold of her. My stylist came walking in about 10 minutes later. And asked if it was okay if she ran and grabbed a drink that would take like 10 minutes. I said no problem take your time, the typical response I give. 10 minutes pass, 15 pass, 35 minutes pass her next client comes walking in for their 5 OCLOCK APPOINTMENT. the lady at the desk said that I was in front of him but the stylist was walking in now, he’s like how long is the wait and the lady behind the counter said probably 45 minutes because hers (pointing to me) is a cut and blow dry he said I don’t have time to wait. At this point the stylist is now in the store, and told him it’ll be quick, and apologized to him she was on the phone with the district manager. He said I don’t have time when I have an appointment I expect to have the appointment on time I don’t have time. She apologizes profusely to him, he walks out of the store and she looks at me and says follow me. After shampooing she starts combing my hair which she realizes my hair is really over processed (my fault), and asks me how much I want to cut off and to I respond just my dead ends. And she kinda just looks at me and I ask how bad and she’s like you need to go shoulder length, and I kind of freeze, she likes it’s pretty dead. I just kinda sit there, she asks do you want a second opinion I said yes. The second lady (who I wish was my stylist) came over and started pulling on my hair to test the elasticity of it to see if it’s repairable or not, to which some of it was she recommended me to go about two-three inches below shoulder length. I could feel her finger hitting on my back about that length. But she said ultimately it’s up to you. Which I was okay with the length she pointed out. She also recommended me on ways to help prevent my hair becoming more damaged and how to save my hair not just chop it all off with out testing anything. My stylist started brushing super hard and hit my ears multiple times to which I’m surprise my stomach cartridge piercing didn’t fall out, I left with a headache she was pulling at all the knots even though she knew my hair was super brittle. She started cutting my hair and she was pretty silent the entire cut. Then she got to the next portion asked if i wanted layers I said yes and just went to town on my hair. She asked me if I wanted curtain bangs (we talked about it all before the cut) I said yes do you think they’ll look good on my face shape? She just laughed at me twisted my hair and chopped a little below my eyes… not even started long asked if I like the length just chop. She then went to blow dry my hair didn’t put heat protectant at all and just blew dried it with my brittle hair. While blow drying she burned my scalp a couple of times, and blew it directly in my face a couple of times after she was blow drying she commented “oh look at that it ended up shoulder length” I want to know how a straight blow dry ended up three inches shorter than what it was supposed to be. She then went to go fix my bangs not even curtain bangs. And she took the sheers in front of my face. But she did it so fast and so carefree that she grazed my face with them I shut my eyes so fast before she stabbed my eyes with them the sheers hit my face beside my eyes. The hair cut was finally over and she walked me to the counter to pay where she watched me choose which tip I was going to leave. I left a 20% tip under the pressure but I wish I left so much less. I left and went home and told my parents about the experience and they said I needed to call and complain because that whole experience was not okay. And those of you that asked why I didn’t confront her there, I suffer from anxiety and can’t stand up for myself. So I called back and asked if the manager was there after a couple of hours convincing myself that it was important to stand up. And the manager wasn’t in, so I asked when they would be they said in the morning. So I woke up and talked myself into calling again, and I called to speak to the manager, my stylist picked up and I asked to speak to the manager to which she replied she was the manager. I made some excuse not to speak to her. So now here I am about a week later making this review because I don’t know what else to do… I was not taken care of and felt like a burden being there I’ve gotten my hair done so many places and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.Response from HairCuttery • 8/29/22Hi Tesa G, We’re sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. Hair Cuttery Team. - 7/6/22Excellent customer service with The Salon Leader Laveria! She did an amazing highlight/color in June 2022. Today I came in the salon July 6,2022 for a touch up root color. The Salon staff was very professional while waiting to be seen by the Salon Leader Laveria.
