- 2/7/23I had a cut on 12/21/22, by far the worst cut I have ever had. I started with hair that was all the way down my back, and asked for a trim to just above my elbow. I ended up with hair to my collar bone and layers, or I assume what are supposed to be layers, but a MUCH shorter cut of hair that goes from the crown of my head, forward, and is above my jaw! I look like I have two separate cuts on my head, a short "bob" from the front of my ears to my forehead, and longer hair from the crown of my head down. I am absolutely traumatized, I have an appointment to get extensions to cover this disastrous hair cut until my hair grows back. The cut is choppy, and uneven. To describe this cut, imagine David Bowie from the Labyrinth. I will NEVER go back. Not at all what I asked for! If that wasn't bad enough, the stylist curled my hair, which I asked for beach waves to style, either way, again, not what I asked for, but with the curls I couldn't notice how bad the cut was until I got home and restyled it myself. At the register I purchased shampoo and conditioner, and the total was $144, the tip is added in at the register which is a percentage of the total. The stylist tried to trick me to give her a percentage of the total including the merchandise, I asked her how much the cut was and it was $66 (definitely not worth that at all)!! I am appalled.
- 12/30/22Von is one of the best stylists I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen plenty over the years. She’s skilled and patient. She listens to what I want and never rushes. I’ll keep coming back as long as she is here. Talent like hers should be retained and rewarded. You have a gem in her. Next day came back for a 1230 appointment and I have been waiting again past my appointment time 20mins. Hair Cuttery Team - 8/28/22I received one of the worst haircuts in my life today from a woman named Tammy. She was nice enough at first, but I figured I was in trouble when I started to explain what I wanted (a low fade, simple clean up around the ears and neck, barely anything off the top) and she didn't so much as acknowledge me.
Then, when she did a few quick swipes with her razor and shaved one half of my head down to a 0.5 (which is NOT what I said), she said to me, "You know what? I don't even know what a fade is." And then she proceeded to sloppily even it out on the other side of my head.
I tried to be as nice as possible - did I speak up for myself? Not as much as I should have, and that's one me. But for $30 a haircut, I'd expect the one cutting my hair to know what the most basic terms are and how to do them.
Finally, when it came time for her to clean up my neck, she leaves scruff where it should be clean shaven. I was so fixated on the rest of my head that I failed to notice my neckline until I got home. She said sorry a few times but I could tell that she far from meant it.
It was just an overall very poor experience and I don't think I will ever be coming back to this establishment. Hair Cuttery Team - 7/19/22Laveria gave me an entire experience not just a hair cut. I felt like i was at a high end salon. She took her time working tea tree shampoo through my scalp and hair, deep conditioned, cut and styled. The cut was amazing and she finished with the best serum. Hair Cuttery Team. - 9/11/21I got a perm from Tamera a.k.a Tammy . I have had a haircut before by her and she was great . However , i think she lacks knowledge in doing perms. I have had perms before so i know what I got myself into. She was on time, but the first thing she tells me is she can’t see because she forgot her glasses . Then in the middle of putting curlers in my hair ( half of my head was done ) she said she had to go get something out of the car. 7 minutes later , she tells me she had to get a CBD gummy from the shop next door because her arm hurts . At that point , i continued with the process since , half of my head still had curlers and she claimed she was ok. Fast forwarding to the end as she is taking the curlers off . She says my hair is still straightened in the back and that sometimes it takes more than one time for perms to set in especially if i haven’t had a perm before . I told her i have had a couple before . Then she claims it’s because it’s been a year since my last perm . I get to her seat and noticed that random strands were still straight in the front and the whole back of my head was still straight ! She then tells me to come back in 2 days after washing it to see if it still bothered me . She would do a spot perm . I called the next day since regardless of if i wait two days or not , in that timeframe my hair will still get damaged . I spoke to the lead manager ( Emilia) and told her everything that happened . She said her apologies and seemed like she was shocked of what i told her of her hair dresser’s actions. She asked me to come back that day so we could resolve it . Tammy is there and she takes me to a back chair to be discreet about her mishap and asks me to come back at 5pm . I come back and she is doing my perm all over again and assuring me that my hair won’t get damaged . While washing my hair, she mentions to me that it wasn’t right for me to tell my mom and possibly her boss about getting a cbd gummy next door . Also she tells me that for my information she had done a full foil and haircut before me and they liked the results! I thought that was completely rude. I have never been talked to like that! I could have approached her and whoever in this salon in an angry manner but i didn’t ! I told her i wasn’t trying to portray her as a drug addict and i didn’t say she was bad at what she does but to put her in my shoes. First thing is she tells me she can’t see, then she leaves in the middle to go get a cbd gummy , and the end results force me to come back and subject my hair to more chemicals to fix her doings. VERY unprofessional! If she was concerned about looking bad , maybe she should keep things like that to herself especially when she’s dealing with clients that she doesn’t know too well and the end results is not what they paid for ! Also very disappointing that Emilia ( the lead manager ) is aware of the situation and was there when i was asked to come back to the salon … and didn’t even talk to me other than say hello …. Also doesn’t call me to follow up on the resolution. As a manager, i would be concerned for their clients happiness as they are what keeps their business afloat !
