- 4/4/23Horrible and time consuming my app. was at 2:00pm and I was waiting for half an hour just so a stylist could free up. I called in earlier this morning and they told me to schedule so I did what’s the point of scheduling if you’re going to keep your customer waiting for half an hour??
- 2/21/23I brought my 4 year old daughter in for a trim and Marisol was the stylist. First, my daughter LOVES her long hair. I asked for a 1 inch trim and she cut off closer to 2.5 inches. When I asked about the length she started explaining I wanted her hair cut straight across but her hair shape was rounded so she had to cut off more. I asked why she didn’t explain that to me before cutting it and she just kept repeating her justification. She was rude and dismissive throughout the rest of the appointment as well. Hair Cuttery Team - 7/27/22First came in July 8, 2022 for a simple all over color, showed the color I wanted and I ended up with an ugly orangish brassy color even though I showed the stylist the exact color I wanted, simple enough, dark brown but nope nothing near that color..ok paid $198 & left.
Came back 7/26/2022 for a color correction and I asked if and how much I would have to pay, the stylist didn't tell me, instead just sat me down and right away put the color on my hair. it only took around 30 mins and I got to the checkout and to my shock she charged me $94 for something SHE had messed up the first time around, why should I pay for something that I didn't mess up??? Hair Cuttery Team. - 6/2/22Never again! Came in for a single color - hair so short you can't even pinch it. What could go wrong, right? Wanted a dark brown with a hint of red. Ended up with bright red color, even after a second treatment with violet (I have no idea how that is even in the brown color spectrum). Luckily, it's only hair, it will grow out and I can cut off the ugly red. Hair Cuttery Team. - 2/2/22Mae Lara is quite simply - THE BEST! I would give her 25 stars if I could! I have been a client of Mae's for many years and every cut was exactly what I wanted - no easy task for my very short and very uncooperative hair. I frequently got compliments from total strangers about my cut - asking who my stylist was, and I would happily tell them about Mae and where to connect with her. Beginning in March 2020, the pandemic forced us all into just living with whatever hair we had for many months - waiting for salons and stylist to be available again. During this time, my very short pixie became an unruly mess. On my first visit back with Mae, we embarked on a journey to grow out my stick-straight hair. I wasn't sure I could do it - I wasn't sure I could get through those truly awkward phases of growing out such short, layered hair. But Mae made it easy - and with each trim, provided a style I could manage and a style that didn't look like I was trying to grow out a pixie cut. I now have hair just touching my shoulders - and the trim I got today was exactly what I needed - as always. I can't thank Mae enough for her expertise and styling talents - and her ability to guide and encourage me through this grow-out journey. I'm turning 60 soon - this may be my last "long hair" adventure - and I'm considering some sassy highlights for the first time in 15 years. Hair Cuttery Team. - 10/31/21The woman cutting my son’s hair accidentally shaved off half his eyebrow. I’m not sure how this even happened because his eyebrows are several inches from where she would have been cutting. - 6/18/21Please remove the walk-ins welcome signs. Walked in two separate days with no one in waiting area and was told they didn’t have time for walk ins. Two big signs in window say otherwise. Clearly the stylists are preferring the appointment only schedule. Went to Fantastic Sams and was taken in 15 mins as a walk in.

My apologies for not being able to be taken immediately. - 5/11/21Worst experience ever! I had an appointment today with Taylor, May 11, 2021 at 12:15am. I was there early, waited, got check-in, waited, and waited. After 30 mins wait, nobody came to check on me and let me know how much longer would the wait be. I had to get their attention. Taylor (I guess) finally came talk to me for the first time since I was there and said she couldn't do it today and I would need to come back at a letter time. First of all, when I called for the appointment, the 12:15pm time was offered by the person who works there. So this is their availability and now they told me they are not available? Taylor said she didn't know who set the appointment for me. Well, it must be one of them that work there. The worst experience ever! I took of couple hours from work, got there before the app with my two kids, and have to be turned down. I will write the review on every site I can find. I had an appointment for 5:30 pm, when I arrived, Odaly didn't greet me, as she was busy with another client. I was told to wait by someone else, but then I saw her start foiling that client without apologizing and asking if I could wait, which is very unprofessional. I waited 10 minutes and walked out. She called me a few minutes later asking where I went. I told her the reason people make appointments, because they expect to be served at that time. She never apologized and hung up on me when I said that was disrespectful. Not going back there for sure. - 1/10/21I was over charged for a simple hair cut (didn’t even get my hair washed) I booked appt online lady who cut my hair charged me $29 even after the I noticed and pointed out the price board says $23 she said I requested her ...
