- 9/21/22Terrible customer service! I brought my husband in for a buzz cut. We originally went Sunday morning, early, and were turned away. No stylists had shown up for work.
So I made an appointment on the website for Wednesday at 9:30 am. I received a confirming email. We went to the hair Cuttery and they did NOT have our appointment in their system. I showed the employee the email confirmation. Didn’t phase her. She told me we could come back about noon. What? Terrible, terrible service!!! I will never return to ANY of their salons. Bad. Don’t go. - 7/15/22Haircut was fine, but I made an appointment for just a cut for my child. The stylist added a blowout without asking me and then charged me for it! Hair cuttery team. - 6/22/22It says walk ins are welcome, today makes the 4th time I have been turned away for a simple hair cut. Walk ins are not welcome here at Zions Crossroads, VA. I would give their customer service a negative number if I could. Hair cuttery team. - 4/12/22If I could give you 0 stars, I would. I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time for my stylist. Of those 20 minutes, the last 10 was spent in the waiting area without anybody else in sight while I could clearly hear my stylist talking in the back area of the store. She had claimed she was going to “sanitize her station” and be right with me, but she ended up just grabbing her cape and drink and going to the back. I keep my hair shaved pretty close to my head, so in the time I spent waiting, I could have left with the trim I was looking for. Hair Cuttery Team - 3/26/22I had a wonderful perm with Gage Prior to that, a horrible experience. I had booked an appointment for 10 and a handsome man was waiting with me and was taken in with my scheduled hairdresser shortly after I arrived at 9:50 My scheduled appointment was at 10 It appeared the hairdresser was smitten with this dude and spent lots of time talking with him about his marital status and making sure he knew she was a single mother And she seemed to be prolonging the appointment to be sure he got multiple neck treatments, almost to the point it appeared to be a sexual come-on Meanwhile, since I had an appointment and had to be home by noon to relieve my husband's temporary caregiver, I sat and watched all this, and made the manager mad for reporting that I had waited too long. I did not repot to the manager what I suspected, as she did not respond to me graciously in my first inquiry as to why it was taking so long, even though I Knew why. Hair Cuttery Team. - 1/23/22I drove 20 minutes to get my sons haircut. They asked me did I make an appointment online, I did not because no where in their website stated they were by appointment only. I was prepared to wait a reasonable amount of time to be a walk in customer. When I arrived, there were no customers waiting however all salon chairs were filled. A girl was on the phone arranging an appointment so I sat with my son to wait for her to get off to sign in. She was on the phone for a good while, while another stylist walked up to sign out a customer in which she was finished she looked at me and I had to explain why I was there. I was not asked how I could be helped. However I was polite, and asked for a haircut for my son. I was asked did I have an appointment and I stated no I did not and they looked at each other and she briefly checked the schedule and stated they were full and asked if I could return tomorrow. I was very disappointed in the service. I have used hair cutters before and also took the liberty of calling around to other hair cuttery locations and was told there may be a wait for a stylist but walk ins are accepted. I will not be returning to this location and will share with other people my experience when conversations occur. I also tip well.
