    I appreciate the cut I got. The staff was friendly and talkative, making a good atmosphere in the store. Overall, Hair Cuttery is on par with other chain hair shops I've been to.

    Got a good haircut but when i returned home, later that evening I noticed that there were small batches of hair that had not been cut to blend with the rest of the cut, so i trimmed them myself.

    My stylist was on her phone most of the time and the shampoo and am condition on my hair lasted maybe 1 minute with rinse application ect. There was no one in the salon so I don’t understand why she was so rushed. Never asked if I was okay with the cut just went me on my way

    I have come back every time I need a haircut. The same stylist, Megan, is an absolute marvel with my hair. I would follow her wherever she may be.

    I love this location. But they are understaffed. I've been a customer there for years. A new stylist cut my hair. She was VERY inexperienced and a nervous wreck. She literally said she was afraid to cut my curly hair and wanted me to wait for another stylist but I had already been waiting 45 minutes. She constantly had to ask the manager about how to cut my hair (manager remembers my haircut). AND when cutting at my neckline she snipped my neck..to the point that it bled and required a bandaid. I felt VERY bad for the stylist, she should not be cutting hair. She admitted not having training for all kinds of cuts from wherever she went to school. Once the manager saw the cut she was even more nervous--the place was packed, people waiting and I think it was just about getting people out. Again, I love this location, have always had incredible stylists. My entire family goes there, but something's got to change. Oh, and I still paid for my haircut and left a tip.

    I was a walk in and the woman who cut my hair, Maria I believe, was all by herself. Despite this she remained friendly and inviting, listened to what I wanted, and provided excellent service. She was quick, but did not make me feel rushed and my hair cut turned out perfect. She even took a moment to discuss the products she was using with me before checking me out.

    I called on a Monday and spoke to a Maria at the pleasant prairie WI location on 75th. I asked about the 50% off promo for color and highlights and asked If I would qualify since I’ve been there before. She looked me up and told me yes. She mentioned nothing about not being able to use it with a master stylist which she was, and tried to make an apt over the phone for it anyway and told me it was more money if I made an apt. So I hung up. I did a walk in that coming Thursday, which was last night, and there were two stylists just sitting there and no lines. I requested a full highlight and a trim. It was 6pm and the store closes at 9. They told me they only had time for a partial foil, and I agreed and brought up the 50% off promo. The other lady there told me I couldn’t do it because they are both master stylists and because I’ve had color there before. I then mentioned the phone call from Monday right in front of Maria, and the other lady stated she gave me wrong information. Maria just looked at me and said “ohhh”. Despite all of this i was desperate and let Maria still do my hair. The end result was sufficient, however when I got home and looked at the back of my shirt, it had dye all over it and she failed to mention that she made a mistake. Never again.

    The salon is disgustingly dirty. Dust on everything. Customers walk through hair on the floor. Hair products dropped on floor and left there. No coat rack, so stuff is tossed on a chair in a pile. Very difficult understanding stylist with a heavy accent. But luckily, end result is all I’m concerned about and she did a good job. And price is always a concern. So as long as I can get it done reasonably I’ll be back.

    This salon has an inability to keep stylists. I feel they always have 1-2 good stylists, but no one stays, there's bad culture, thd new stylist this time talked incessantly about not knowing how to do several styles, passed on a walkin feeling she didn't know how to do it. She also told a client she only dressed decent today and wore make-up because she had a meeting that morning with a regional manager. Bragged she usually just does sweat pants. The experienced stylist took on the client that wanted the bald fade, but was vocal about being over worked. A new receptionist sat on her phone. My stylist made a comment about no towels, the girl went and got her 3, said she had to finish folding them, but then sat back in the chair on her phone. When she checked people in, the first chair person had to quote times and tell her what to do, so she really was of very little service. She swept up hair for 2 experienced stylists, but not the inexperienced one. Very clearly poor management. I think the 2 stylists were trying hard to help, motivate, hold accountable the useless 2, but that is unfair to them as they are left alone on a busy Saturday to take care of everything.
